It works on any webpage displaying deadline notifications, project timelines, assignment due dates, task deadlines, or similar time-sensitive communications. Common sources include project management platforms, educational portals, professional networks, email clients, team collaboration tools, and internal company systems.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a deadline notification, due date, or project timeline. Open the BotGentz extension and select Email Reply Requesting an Extension from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter your proposed new deadline and, optionally, a brief reason for the extension. Select your preferred tone (professional or explanatory) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Reply" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant deadline information and sends it along with your details to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a professional, persuasive extension request in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on deadline and timeline communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing deadline indicators such as "deadline," "due," "submit by," "complete by," "timeline," "schedule," "milestone," and "deliverable." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the deadline text and surrounding structural markers (dates, times, task names, project titles, priority levels). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a deadline notification using features like temporal phrasing frequency ("by," "on," "before," "no later than"), action verbs ("submit," "complete," "deliver," "finish"), project references, and priority markers ("urgent," "critical," "final"). Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the specific task or project, the current deadline, any requirements or deliverables, and the associated context. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, proposed new deadline, reason, and preferred tone), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete extension request with standardized sections (polite opening, clear justification, specific new deadline proposal, commitment to completion), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.
