About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Fake Airdrop Claim Site Detector provides AI-powered security analysis of claim site contracts to identify fake airdrop scams. Analyze contract bytecode and function signatures to detect approval phishing patterns — where users are tricked into signing unlimited token approvals. Detect unlimited token approval requests that grant the contract permission to spend any amount of your tokens. Identify unexpected token transfer functions that could drain approved assets. Analyze proxy patterns that forward approvals to malicious implementations. Examine admin key configuration to identify who controls the contract and can withdraw funds. Review deployer wallet history to detect patterns of repeated scam deployments. Compare against known scam airdrop contract signatures to identify previously reported malicious patterns. The AI translates these technical findings into a plain-language verdict — Fake Airdrop — Malicious, Suspicious, Legitimate Airdrop, or Needs Review — with specific pattern flags, function names, and a clear explanation of what the contract will actually do to your wallet.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your Web3 wallet (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, BSC, or any EVM-compatible chain).

2. Select the network that matches your target chain from the dropdown.

3. Paste the claim site contract address you want to analyze.

4. Select detection depth (standard or deep).

5. Click "detect fake airdrop" to read on-chain contract data and generate an AI explanation.

6. Review the verdict, specific pattern flags with function names and permission details, and clear explanation of what the contract does.

7. Make an informed decision about whether to approve or interact with the claim site.

8. Remember: the AI explanation informs your decision, but your wallet's signature prompt is what actually protects you — always review it before signing.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

Fake Airdrop Claim Site Detector reads real on-chain contract data including bytecode, function signatures, and ownership configurations. The tool scans bytecode for approval-related functions (approve, increaseAllowance) and analyzes the approval amount to detect unlimited approvals (type(uint256).max). It identifies transferFrom, transfer, and sweep functions that could drain approved tokens. It examines admin controls to determine who can withdraw funds or change contract behavior. It analyzes proxy patterns to detect contracts that forward approvals to malicious implementations. The parsed on-chain data is then passed to the AI bridge (BGAI.generate) which produces a structured verdict in plain language. The AI explanation is capped at 1,024 tokens and focuses on what the contract actually does and what permissions it asks for. The tool presents the verdict and specific flags before any action is taken, enabling the user to make an informed decision about interacting with the claim site.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot guarantee detection of all fake airdrop claim sites — sophisticated scammers may use novel patterns or obfuscation techniques not yet recognized. It cannot detect off-chain social engineering or phishing pages that exist outside the contract. It cannot verify that a claim function is malicious rather than legitimate — some legitimate airdrops may request token approvals. It cannot ensure that all known fake airdrop patterns are recognized. The AI analysis is based solely on on-chain contract data — it cannot detect off-chain intent, future contract upgrades, or social engineering attacks. Always verify critical information independently and never rely solely on automated analysis for financial decisions. The AI explanation is generated and does not replace reviewing what you are actually signing in your wallet.

PLEASE NOTE

Fake Airdrop Claim Site Detector supports EVM-compatible blockchains only (Ethereum Mainnet, Goerli, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, and others via network selection). The tool requires a free API key for the AI bridge. The tool never submits transactions or signs messages; it is strictly read-only. The AI explanation is generated after reading on-chain data — always review your wallet's signature prompt before approving any transaction. Never grant unlimited approval to unknown contracts. If you have already approved a suspicious contract, revoke approval immediately. The tool cannot detect off-chain phishing pages or social engineering. Deep detection may take longer but provides more thorough pattern analysis.
