Hey Web Screener Digest Organizer automatically scans Hey screener and digest pages to extract email sender data, message categories, and screening status. The tool organizes screened emails by category with counts and quick reference, helping you understand the composition of your screened messages. A floating overlay panel displays a summary of screener activity with color-coded indicators—blue for Newsletters, yellow for Promotions, green for Social, purple for Work, pink for Personal, teal for Updates, orange for Receipts, and gray for Unknown. Summary statistics show total items, unread count, and new messages. Categories are displayed with counts and percentages. Recent senders are listed for quick reference. Unread alerts highlight items needing attention. Quick stats show category count, unique senders, and read rate. This provides a complete, organized view of your Hey screener digest.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on hey.com domain pages that contain screener and digest content—specifically pages with "/screener", "/digest", "/inbox", or "/feed" in the URL path, or pages that display screener items and digest listings. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The screener digest organizer runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All screener data extraction, category analysis, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your email data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this screener organizer, navigate to any Hey screener or digest page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total items, unread count, and new messages. The "Categories" section shows each category with its count and percentage, color-coded for quick identification. The "Recent Senders" section lists recent email senders. The "Unread Alert" section shows the number of unread screened items. Quick stats display category count, unique senders, and read rate. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your screener digest.

SCREENER DATA EXTRACTION AND CATEGORY ORGANIZATION

The screener digest organizer uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse screener data from Hey pages. It first attempts to find structured screener elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "screener-item," "digest-item," "email-item," and "message-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for screener-related patterns using pattern matching for sender names, category labels, and status indicators. Sender names are extracted through pattern matching for "from:" labels or name patterns. Categories are classified using a comprehensive keyword mapping system: "newsletter," "news," "weekly," or "daily" maps to Newsletters; "promo," "deal," "offer," "sale," "discount," or "coupon" to Promotions; "social," "friend," "connection," "network," or "share" to Social; "work," "job," "career," "interview," "team," or "project" to Work; "personal," "family," "friend," or "home" to Personal; "update," "alert," "notification," or "reminder" to Updates; "receipt," "order," "purchase," "confirm," or "payment" to Receipts; and other items to Unknown. Unread status is determined through keyword detection for "unread" or "new" or class name checks. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.

THE PANEL

The screener digest organizer panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Hey screener page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you manage your screened emails. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and screener tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the screener digest organizer does not work standalone. Hey occasionally updates its page layouts and screener presentation formats, which may temporarily affect screener data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts screener data from the visible page content; if screener items are loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Category classification is based on keyword detection and may not capture all email types with perfect accuracy. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all screener data extraction, category analysis, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
