Magoosh Web Study Plan Progress Overlay automatically scans Magoosh study plan and dashboard pages to extract comprehensive study data including lesson progress, quiz scores, practice question accuracy, total study time, daily study targets, study streak, and upcoming assignments. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of study plan progress with a visual completion percentage and progress bar. Key statistics include quiz scores, practice accuracy, total study time, daily targets, and study streak. Upcoming assignments and overdue assignments are highlighted with color-coded indicators—overdue assignments shown in red, upcoming in white. Estimated completion date is displayed when available. This provides a complete, organized view of your Magoosh study plan progress and helps you stay on track.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on magoosh.com domain pages that contain study plan and dashboard content—specifically pages with "/study", "/dashboard", "/plan", or "/progress" in the URL path, or pages that display study progress and assignment information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The study plan progress overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All study data extraction, progress tracking, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your study data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this study plan overlay, navigate to any Magoosh study plan or dashboard page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying your progress summary. The "Progress" section shows completion percentage with a progress bar and lesson count. The "Stats" section displays quiz scores, practice accuracy, study time, streak, and daily targets. The "Upcoming" section lists upcoming assignments with due dates. The "Overdue" section highlights overdue assignments in red. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your study plan progress and helps you identify what needs attention.

STUDY PLAN DATA EXTRACTION AND PROGRESS TRACKING

The study plan progress overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse study data from Magoosh pages. It first attempts to find structured study elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including study plan containers, progress trackers, and assignment lists. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for study-related patterns using pattern matching for percentages, lesson counts, quiz scores, and time indicators. Completion percentages are extracted through pattern matching for percentage values with "complete" or "progress" labels. Lesson progress is extracted through pattern matching for "X/Y" lesson patterns. Quiz scores and practice accuracy are extracted through pattern matching for percentage values with "quiz" or "accuracy" labels. Study time is extracted through pattern matching for minute values with "study time" labels. Daily targets and streaks are extracted through pattern matching for minute values with "daily" labels and day counts with "streak" labels. Assignments are extracted from assignment containers, with overdue status determined through keyword detection for "overdue" or "late." All data is presented in a clean, organized panel.

THE PANEL

The study plan progress overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Magoosh study page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you track your progress. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and progress tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the study plan progress overlay does not work standalone. Magoosh occasionally updates its page layouts and study plan presentation formats, which may temporarily affect study data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts study data from the visible page content; if study information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Assignment extraction is based on keyword detection and may not capture all assignment types with perfect accuracy. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all study data extraction, progress tracking, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
