Make.com Web Scenario Run History Overlay automatically scans Make.com scenario run history and activity pages to extract comprehensive run data including run status (success, error, warning), run count, success rate, execution time, and recent activity. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of scenario run history with color-coded indicators—green for success, red for errors, yellow for warnings. Summary statistics show total runs, success rate (color-coded), and average execution time. Status breakdown displays success, error, and warning counts with colored labels. Recent runs show the last 5 run statuses with timestamps and execution times. A trend indicator shows overall automation performance as Excellent (90%+), Good (70%+), Average (50%+), or Needs Attention (below 50%). This provides a complete, organized view of your Make.com scenario run history and automation performance.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on make.com domain pages that contain scenario run history and activity content—specifically pages with "/scenarios", "/history", "/dashboard", or "/runs" in the URL path, or pages that display run history and automation activity. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The run history overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All run data extraction, success rate calculation, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your automation data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this run history overlay, navigate to any Make.com scenario run history or activity page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying the scenario name and last updated time. The "Run Summary" section shows total runs, success rate (color-coded), and average execution time. The "Status Breakdown" section displays success, error, and warning counts. The "Recent Runs" section lists the last 5 run statuses with timestamps and execution times. The "Trend" section shows overall automation performance with a color-coded indicator. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your run history and helps you monitor automation health.

RUN HISTORY DATA EXTRACTION AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

The run history overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse run data from Make.com pages. It first attempts to find structured run elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "run-item," "execution-item," "history-item," and "scenario-run-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for run-related patterns using pattern matching for status labels, counts, and execution times. Total runs are extracted through pattern matching for "total runs" or "executions" labels with numeric values. Success counts are extracted through pattern matching for "success" or "successful" labels with numeric values. Error counts are extracted through pattern matching for "error" or "failed" labels with numeric values. Warning counts are extracted through pattern matching for "warning" labels with numeric values. Execution time is extracted through pattern matching for time values with "s," "sec," or "seconds" labels. Success rate is calculated as (success count / total runs) × 100. Recent runs are extracted from run containers or through pattern matching. Trend classification uses success rate thresholds: 90%+ maps to Excellent, 70-89% to Good, 50-69% to Average, and below 50% to Needs Attention. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.

THE PANEL

The run history overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Make.com scenario page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you monitor automation performance. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and run tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the run history overlay does not work standalone. Make.com occasionally updates its page layouts and run history presentation formats, which may temporarily affect run data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts run data from the visible page content; if run history is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Success rate calculations and execution times are based on extracted data and are provided as reference metrics. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all run data extraction, performance analysis, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
