WHAT IT DOES This userscript helps you keep track of timed-entry reservations by displaying a live countdown timer and reminders directly on the ticket page. It scans museum and attraction ticket pages for timed-entry slots, reservation times, or visit windows, then extracts the selected entry time. It displays a visual badge or panel showing the entry time, a real-time countdown timer, and reminder notifications like "Entry in 2 hours, 15 minutes". The script updates every second and uses color coding to indicate urgency—green for ample time, yellow for approaching, orange for soon, and red for imminent entry (15 minutes or less). It also suggests optimal arrival times based on typical museum wait times. WHERE IT RUNS The script works on museum and attraction ticket pages—official museum websites, ticketing platforms, reservation systems, and similar sites. It runs entirely within your browser, reading only the visible content of the current page. It does not track your browsing history, access other tabs, or send any data externally. All calculations are performed locally. HOW TO USE After installation, open the panel by clicking the tool's icon in the BotGentz sidebar. The script auto-scans ticket pages on load (toggle this on/off). Choose your display mode—"Badge only" shows a floating badge in the corner, "Panel only" shows details in the panel, or "Both" shows both. Toggle "Show countdown timer" to display the real-time countdown. Click "Scan for entry time" to manually analyze the page. The badge displays the entry time, countdown timer, and reminder message. The panel shows the entry time, countdown, and helpful tips (arrive 10-15 minutes early, have your ticket ready, check for updates). Use "Clear reminders" to remove all overlays. THE TECHNICAL MECHANISM This script uses pattern matching to extract timed-entry times from page text. It scans for patterns like "Entry: 2:30 PM", "Reservation: 3:00 PM", "Timed Entry: 10:00 AM", "Selected Time: 11:30", and "Time Slot: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM". It parses various time formats including "2:30 PM", "2:30pm", "14:30", "2 PM", and "14:00". If a time appears to be in the past (e.g., 10:00 AM when it's already 11:00 AM), it automatically assumes the time is for the following day. The script calculates the difference between the current time and the entry time, then formats the remaining time as days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
