WHAT IT DOES

Project Whitepaper Claim Checker compares a project's whitepaper claims against on-chain reality before you invest. The tool reads the project contract to detect owner/admin controls, mint functions, upgradeable proxy patterns, trading restrictions, selfdestruct opcodes, vesting schedules, and team allocations. It then checks these findings against common whitepaper promises — fixed supply, decentralization, immutability, free trading, no selfdestruct risk — and identifies mismatches, unrealistic promises, and red flags. The tool then uses AI to generate a plain-language analysis of the claim verification: what the contract actually does vs. what whitepapers typically promise, flagged mismatches, and whether the project appears to match its stated claims. Results include a risk level, individual claim verification (pass/fail with details), claim pass count, flags, and a comprehensive AI-generated analysis. The tool operates entirely read-only — no transactions are sent, no signatures are required. The AI assessment is designed to help you identify projects whose on-chain reality does not match their promises.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button in the header. Select the network where the project contract is deployed from the dropdown menu. Enter the project contract address you wish to analyze. Optionally enter the project name — this helps the impersonation detection. Click "Check whitepaper claims" to begin the analysis. The tool reads the contract bytecode to detect owner controls, minting, upgradeability, trading restrictions, and other risk signals, compares them against common whitepaper claims, and sends the data to the AI for a plain-English analysis. Results appear within seconds, showing the project contract, chain, risk level, individual claim verification with pass/fail details, claim pass count, flags, and a comprehensive AI-generated analysis written in clear, conversational language.

CLAIM VERIFICATION AND MISMATCH DETECTION

The tool uses a pattern-based approach to verify common whitepaper claims against on-chain reality. It scans the contract bytecode for owner/admin patterns (owner, admin) to verify decentralization claims, mint functions to verify fixed supply claims, delegatecall with implementation for immutability claims, blacklist/whitelist/pause for free trading claims, and selfdestruct for selfdestruct risk claims. Each claim is evaluated as PASS or FAIL with a detailed explanation of the finding. The risk level is calculated based on the number of failed claims: 4+ failed claims → Critical, 3 failed claims → High, 2 failed claims → Medium, 0-1 failed claims → Low. The AI receives all claim verification data and is prompted to analyze the project's whitepaper claims against on-chain reality — stating what the contract actually does vs. what whitepapers typically promise, flagging concerning mismatches, and providing a clear recommendation. The AI is also instructed to state plainly what it cannot verify — that it checks on-chain data against typical whitepaper claims, not the whitepaper's actual text, off-chain promises, team legitimacy, or future project success.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot definitively verify whitepaper claims — only reads on-chain data and checks if they match the contract. It cannot verify off-chain claims about partnerships, team, roadmap, or token utility — it has no visibility into the project's team, partnerships, or future plans. The tool cannot detect if the whitepaper itself is legitimate or plagiarized — it does not read the whitepaper text. Legitimate projects may have claims that are not fully reflected on-chain yet — a project may be planning to implement features that are not yet deployed. The tool cannot predict future token value or project success — a project with matching claims could still fail. The tool cannot detect if the project is a rug pull or exit scam — it can only flag technical mismatches. The tool cannot verify that the team is real or trustworthy. The tool cannot detect if the project has been audited or if the audit is legitimate.
