The AI extracts the order number, identifies the specific item or items being returned, captures the purchase date and original price, understands the reason for return from provided options or descriptions, and incorporates relevant return policy terms. The output is a complete, ready-to-submit return request message that clearly states the reason, references all necessary order information, and requests specific action such as refund, replacement, or store credit. This eliminates the repetitive effort of writing return requests from scratch while ensuring all essential details are included.

WHERE IT RUNS

The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on any website that displays return, refund, or exchange request interfaces. This includes e-commerce return portals, order history pages with return options, customer support ticket systems, retailer return centers, and online store return policy pages. The panel appears automatically when you navigate to a return request page, or you can trigger it manually via the BotGentz extension interface. The AI processes the page content through the BotGentz infrastructure, keeping your interaction responsive and secure without storing or transmitting your data beyond the immediate session.

HOW TO USE

Simply install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any return request page, order details page with return options, or refund request interface, and open the Return Request Drafter panel. Select your preferred formality level from the dropdown — Standard, Formal, or Concise — to match your communication style and the retailer's expectations. Toggle "Include order number" if you want the draft to include order references for clear identification. Optionally, add any specific details or requests in the text input field to customize the draft further. Click "Draft Request" and the AI immediately scans the page, extracting all visible order and return details, and crafts a complete return request message. Review the output in the panel, and if needed, regenerate with a different formality level or additional notes. Once satisfied, click "Copy Draft" to copy the formatted message to your clipboard for immediate submission. Use the panel's drag, resize, collapse, and snap features to position it conveniently on your screen while you complete your return.

MECHANISM — POLICY-AWARE RETURN REQUEST GENERATION

This tool uses a policy-aware return request generation system that combines eligibility verification, reason classification, and outcome-specific composition. The first stage identifies the return window and policy restrictions from the page content, noting any deadlines, restocking fees, or condition requirements. The second stage classifies the return reason — whether it's defective, wrong item, unwanted, damaged, or other — and maps it to appropriate language patterns for each category. The third stage extracts structured data: order number, item names and SKUs, quantities, purchase date, and original payment method. The fourth stage performs an eligibility check against the policy information, flagging potential issues like expired return windows or non-returnable items. This validated and classified data is then passed to the AI with a return request schema, enabling the generation of accurate, policy-compliant return requests that address the specific reason and request appropriate resolution. The system also learns from common return scenarios to suggest relevant details that improve request clarity and processing speed.

THE PANEL

The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing page content. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit a specific domain. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your normal returns workflow.

Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. The tool reads only visible text and form values from the current page; it never accesses password fields, hidden fields, or file inputs. No return or order data is stored or transmitted beyond the immediate session.
