WHAT IT DOES
Salary Range Calculator is a floating calculator panel that computes salary ranges and conversions. Enter annual salary, monthly salary, or hourly rate — the panel converts between all three formats automatically. It also calculates overtime pay based on overtime hours and rate (default 1.5x). Adjust work hours per week and weeks per year to match your specific work schedule. This helps with salary negotiation, job comparisons, and understanding total compensation.

This script runs on any website you visit. It reads only the page you are looking at, never other tabs, bookmarks, or browser data. All data stays in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.
HOW TO USE
Click the Salary Range Calculator panel button in the BotGentz extension toolbar. The panel appears at the edge of the page. Enter your annual salary, monthly salary, or hourly rate — the other fields update automatically. Adjust work hours per week (default 40) and weeks per year (default 52) to match your schedule. Add overtime hours and rate to see overtime pay and total compensation. Use "Copy Summary" to copy the full breakdown to your clipboard. You can save your default values — they persist across pages.
TECHNICAL MECHANISM
The calculator uses standard formulas: Monthly = Annual / 12. Hourly = Annual / (Hours per Week × Weeks per Year). Any field can be used as the source — updating one triggers automatic conversion of the others. Overtime is calculated as (Hourly Rate × Overtime Rate × Overtime Hours × Weeks per Year). The default overtime rate is 1.5x (time-and-a-half). All calculations run client-side in pure JavaScript, with real-time updates as you type.
THE PANEL
The panel is a floating overlay that you can drag anywhere on the screen by its header. It remembers its position per site so it reappears where you left it. The panel can be collapsed into a small handle to get it out of the way, and snapped to the edge of the page. It can be resized to fit your workflow. Press Escape to close the panel.
