WHAT IT DOES

Shipping Update Summarizer reads the current page's shipping tracking interface — including tracking number, carrier name, current status, location history, estimated delivery date, and any delivery exceptions — and generates a concise, plain-language summary of the shipment's progress and expected arrival. The AI extracts every key piece of tracking information: the unique tracking number for reference, the carrier or courier service handling the shipment, the current status in plain language, the last known location and any intermediate scan locations, a chronological timeline of tracking events, the estimated delivery date or delivery window, and any exceptions, delays, or alerts that may affect delivery. The output is a clear, readable summary that helps you quickly understand exactly where your package is and when it will arrive without wading through dense tracking logs or confusing carrier terminology.

WHERE IT RUNS

The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on any website that displays shipping tracking information. This includes carrier tracking pages from USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other major carriers, as well as e-commerce order tracking pages from Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom retail websites. The panel appears automatically when you navigate to a tracking page, or you can trigger it manually via the BotGentz extension interface. The AI processes the page content through the BotGentz infrastructure, keeping your interaction responsive and secure without storing or transmitting your data beyond the immediate session.

HOW TO USE

Simply install the BotGentz extension, locate your shipping tracking page, and open the Shipping Update Summarizer panel. Select your preferred summary style from the dropdown — Brief, Standard, or Detailed — to control how much information is included in the output. Toggle "Include status change alerts" if you want the summary to highlight any recent status changes, exceptions, or delivery alerts. Click "Generate Summary" and the AI immediately scans the page, extracting all visible tracking details and structuring them into a clear, chronological summary. Review the output in the panel, and if needed, regenerate with a different style or alert preference. Once satisfied, click "Copy Summary" to copy the formatted text to your clipboard for sharing, documentation, or personal tracking. Use the panel's drag, resize, collapse, and snap features to position it conveniently on your screen.

MECHANISM — CARRIER-AGNOSTIC TRACKING PARSE ENGINE

This tool uses a carrier-agnostic parse engine trained to recognize shipping tracking patterns across all major couriers and e-commerce platforms. Unlike generic page scrapers, this system employs a multi-stage extraction pipeline specifically for shipping data. The first stage identifies tracking containers using heuristics based on common tracking UI patterns — looking for tracking numbers, carrier logos, status badges, progress bars, and scan history tables. The second stage applies carrier-specific extraction rules that recognize the different terminology and layout patterns used by each courier, normalizing them into a consistent internal data model. The third stage performs chronological reconstruction, ordering tracking events by timestamp and detecting gaps or anomalies in the scan history. The fourth stage includes an exception detection module that identifies delivery alerts, weather delays, address issues, or return-to-sender notifications. This normalized, validated, and chronologically ordered data is then passed to the AI with a clear tracking schema, enabling accurate, consistent summaries regardless of which carrier or e-commerce platform provides the tracking information.

THE PANEL

The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing page content. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit a specific domain. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your normal package tracking workflow.

Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. The tool reads only visible text and form values from the current page; it never accesses password fields, hidden fields, or file inputs.
