SimplyBook.me Web Availability Overlay automatically scans SimplyBook.me booking and availability pages to extract comprehensive availability data including available time slots, service names, staff names, booking dates, and slot status (Available, Booked, Pending). The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of available slots with color-coded availability indicators—green for available slots and red for booked slots. Summary statistics show the service name, number of available slots, and total slots. Staff name and booking date are displayed when available. Available slots are shown first for quick reference, followed by booked slots. Each slot displays its time and duration when available. This provides a complete, organized view of SimplyBook.me availability and helps you find and book the right time slot.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on simplybook.me domain pages that contain booking and availability content—specifically pages with "/book", "/availability", "/schedule", or "/calendar" in the URL path, or pages that display time slots and booking options. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The availability overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All availability data extraction, slot organization, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your booking data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this availability overlay, navigate to any SimplyBook.me booking or availability page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with the service name, available slots count, and total slots. The "Slots" section shows all available time slots with green status indicators, followed by booked slots with red status indicators. Each slot displays its time and duration when available. Staff name and booking date are shown when present. The panel provides a complete, organized view of availability and helps you quickly identify open time slots.

AVAILABILITY DATA EXTRACTION AND SLOT ORGANIZATION

The availability overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse availability data from SimplyBook.me pages. It first attempts to find structured slot elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "slot-item," "time-slot," "availability-item," and "slot-card." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for slot-related patterns using pattern matching for time formats and booking keywords. Service names are extracted from title elements or through pattern matching. Staff names are extracted through pattern matching for "staff:" or "provider:" labels. Booking dates are extracted through pattern matching for date formats. Slot times are extracted through pattern matching for time formats. Slot status is determined through keyword detection for "Available," "Booked," "Reserved," or "Pending." Slot durations are extracted through pattern matching for minute values. Available slots are displayed first for quick reference, followed by booked slots. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.

THE PANEL

The availability overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the SimplyBook.me booking page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you browse availability. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and availability tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the availability overlay does not work standalone. SimplyBook.me occasionally updates its page layouts and availability presentation formats, which may temporarily affect availability data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts availability data from the visible page content; if booking information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Slot availability is subject to change—always verify actual availability on the official SimplyBook.me platform before booking. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all availability data extraction, slot organization, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
