About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool verifies token-gated Discord role sync eligibility, helping users determine if they can sync their Discord roles based on token or NFT ownership. Given a sync contract address, a token or NFT address, an optional token ID, an optional Discord user ID, and an optional wallet address, it reads the user's token balance, NFT ownership status, current sync status, last sync timestamp, and the Discord role that would be assigned. It also retrieves the required token and token ID from the sync contract if specified. The tool automatically detects whether the token is an ERC20 or ERC721 by trying standard interfaces, then displays the user's token balance or NFT ownership status accordingly. The tool then determines sync eligibility—Ready to sync, Already synced, Pending (conditions not met), Not eligible (no tokens), or Unknown—with a visual token preview and role badge showing the Discord role that will be assigned. All data is pulled directly from the blockchain in real time, providing a transparent view before initiating a role sync.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the Connect button in the header, or enter a wallet address manually. Select the target network from the dropdown—Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Base, or Sepolia testnet. Enter the sync contract address and the token or NFT address used for gating. Optionally, provide a token ID (required for specific NFT checks), a Discord user ID (if required by the sync contract), and a wallet address (defaults to connected wallet). Click "Check sync." The tool will fetch the user's token balance or NFT ownership, sync status, last sync timestamp, Discord role, and the contract's canSync status. Results appear in the card below with a prominent sync eligibility badge, the Discord role badge, a token preview showing token type, address, balance, and ownership details, detailed sync and membership information, and a breakdown of sync factors with checkmarks or crosses. Use this information to verify sync eligibility before proceeding with Discord role assignment.

TOKEN-GATED DISCORD ROLE SYNC VERIFICATION WITH MULTI-TOKEN TYPE SUPPORT

The tool provides comprehensive token-gated Discord role sync verification through multiple on-chain reads and automatic token type detection. First, it attempts to detect the token type by trying the ERC721 interface (ownerOf, symbol, balanceOf) and falling back to ERC20 if that fails. For NFTs, it checks the user's balance of the collection and, if a token ID is provided, verifies ownership of that specific token. For ERC20 tokens, it reads the user's balance and formats it appropriately with the token's decimals. The tool then calls the sync contract's canSync() function, which encapsulates the specific sync logic defined by the community—this may require a minimum balance, specific token ID, Discord user ID, membership duration, or other conditions. It also reads getSyncStatus() to check if the user is already synced and when the last sync occurred, getDiscordRole() to identify the role that will be assigned, and getRequiredToken()/getRequiredTokenId() to understand the gating requirements. All factors are combined to provide a clear, actionable sync eligibility status with detailed token preview and sync factors.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify Discord user identity or ensure that the Discord user ID provided belongs to the person using the tool. It cannot ensure that the role sync will actually succeed on Discord's side—the sync contract may be configured incorrectly, or Discord may reject the role assignment. It cannot detect role sync fraud or ensure that roles are correctly assigned. It cannot validate off-chain sync conditions or guarantee that the sync contract is correctly configured. It cannot detect token transfer fraud or ensure that the user still holds the token at the time of sync. It cannot assure that the sync contract is free from vulnerabilities, bugs, or malicious code. It cannot verify that the token address is correct or that the token ID corresponds to a legitimate NFT. It cannot detect front-running or other attacks on the sync check. It cannot provide legal or security advice or guarantee that syncing is safe. All data is provided as-is for informational purposes only; any reliance on the tool's output for sync decisions is the sole responsibility of the user.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM-compatible chains only: Ethereum Mainnet (1), Polygon (137), Optimism (10), Arbitrum One (42161), Base (8453), and Sepolia testnet (11155111). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool requires a Web3 provider (MetaMask or WalletConnect) and access to an RPC endpoint for the selected chain. It does not store any wallet data, Discord IDs, or sync records. All queries are performed directly against the blockchain in real time. The tool only provides read-only information and does not execute any transactions. Sync eligibility is a snapshot based on current on-chain data and does not guarantee sync success at a later time. Always verify critical data independently through a block explorer before relying on any sync decision.
