About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Transaction Replacement Tool is a wallet-focused tool that enables users to replace pending transactions with modified parameters and higher gas prices. Unlike simple speed-up tools that only increase gas, this tool allows full parameter modification—changing the recipient address, transaction data, and value while preserving the original nonce. It reads original transaction details, validates the transaction nonce, checks current gas prices, verifies wallet balance, monitors transaction pool status, and confirms replacement eligibility. The tool supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Base, providing a unified interface to replace pending transactions across multiple networks. This is essential for users who need to correct a transaction error, update parameters, or increase gas without losing their place in the nonce sequence.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using WalletConnect or a compatible browser extension. Ensure your wallet is on the network where the pending transaction was submitted. Enter the transaction hash of the transaction you want to replace. Optionally, specify a new recipient address, new transaction data, and a new value—leave any field blank to keep the original parameter. Set a gas price multiplier (minimum 1.1x) to ensure the replacement transaction outpaces the original. Click "Check original transaction" to verify the transaction status and calculate the required replacement gas price. The tool displays the original and new gas prices, network gas price, and transaction status. If the transaction is pending and you have sufficient balance, the "Replace transaction" button appears. Click it to sign and submit the replacement transaction with the modified parameters. The tool displays a transaction link to your chain's block explorer and logs the final gas cost using receipt.effectiveGasPrice.

ADAPTIVE TRANSACTION REPLACEMENT AND PARAMETER MIGRATION ENGINE

The core technical mechanism that distinguishes this tool is its adaptive transaction replacement and parameter migration engine. Unlike simple cancellation tools that only send zero-value self-transfers, this tool preserves transaction functionality while allowing full parameter modification. The engine first reads the original transaction details using eth_getTransactionByHash, extracting the nonce, gas price, gas limit, recipient, value, and data. It then validates the replacement parameters, checking that the new recipient address is valid, the new data is properly formatted as hex, and the new value is a valid amount. The engine calculates the replacement gas price by applying the user's multiplier to the original gas price, then comparing it to the current network gas price—automatically raising it if the multiplied price is lower than the network price. The engine also performs a balance check, ensuring the wallet has sufficient native balance to cover the total gas cost plus any new value. Once approved, the tool constructs and sends a replacement transaction with the same nonce but modified parameters, using the higher gas price. All RPC calls are wrapped with timeout and retry logic, and the tool automatically falls back to a secondary provider if the primary endpoint fails or rate-limits, ensuring the status check completes even during network congestion.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot guarantee that a transaction will be replaced if the original transaction is already mined, the network is congested, the replacement gas price is insufficient to outpace the original, the wallet's nonce is already used by another transaction, or the replacement transaction is front-run by a different transaction with the same nonce. It has no visibility into the exact mempool state across all nodes, nor can it predict how quickly miners will process the replacement transaction. The tool cannot detect if the original transaction has already been mined between the check and the replacement submission. It does not monitor transactions after replacement—it is a replacement tool, not a transaction monitoring service. The tool cannot interact with non-EVM chains, private networks, or wallets that do not support standard transaction replacement.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is designed exclusively for EVM-compatible blockchain networks. It supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Base, and similar chains. Non-EVM networks such as Solana, Cosmos, or Bitcoin are not supported. Always verify the transaction hash and replacement parameters before submitting—the tool does not validate transaction safety or legitimacy beyond basic verification. The tool provides estimates only—actual fees and gas costs are determined at the time of transaction execution. Users are responsible for understanding the risks of transaction replacement, including the possibility that the original transaction may still be mined if the replacement is not processed in time.
