About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Vesting Unlock Countdown Tool watches the current Etherscan address page for the displayed wallet address, reads the wallet's current balance and recent transaction history via the Etherscan API, monitors for sudden balance increases or outflows, analyzes transaction patterns and counterparty addresses to detect potential vesting unlock events, and displays alerts with transaction details, counterparty information, and risk assessment when significant wallet activity is detected. The tool extracts the wallet address from the page URL, fetches the current balance and transaction list from the Etherscan API, stores historical balance and transaction snapshots locally to detect changes, and calculates the significance of changes relative to wallet size and historical activity. It identifies potential unlock events by detecting large inflows to previously dormant wallets, sudden balance increases that match vesting schedule patterns, and transaction clusters that suggest systematic distribution events.

WHERE IT RUNS

The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on Etherscan address pages at https://etherscan.io/address/*. It works on any wallet address page on Etherscan where transaction history is available through the Etherscan API. The tool connects to the Etherscan public API via GM_xmlhttpRequest to fetch balance and transaction data. No data is sent to any external server beyond the API request; all data is read-only and processed locally. A real EVM wallet is optional — the tool will work without one, but may provide additional on-chain verification if available.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any Etherscan address page, and open the Vesting Unlock Countdown Tool panel. Set your balance change threshold percentage (default 10%) — the tool will alert you when any balance change exceeds this percentage. Set your minimum transaction value in USD (default $50,000) to filter out small movements. Select your monitoring interval from the dropdown — 30, 60, 120, or 300 seconds. Choose your alert preference — Panel only, Browser notification, or Both. Click "Monitor Vesting" — the tool begins fetching balance and transaction data from the Etherscan API at your chosen interval, stores historical snapshots, and compares each new fetch against the stored history. When a significant balance change or large transaction is detected, the tool triggers an alert with direction, percentage change, estimated USD value, and risk assessment. The alert log maintains a history of recent alerts for review. Click "Refresh" to manually check for new activity, or "Clear History" to reset the alert log.

MECHANISM — VESTING UNLOCK DETECTION VIA BALANCE AND TRANSACTION PATTERN ANALYSIS

This tool uses a vesting unlock detection engine that combines balance tracking with transaction pattern analysis. The system extracts the wallet address from the page URL, then constructs the Etherscan API endpoint URL (https://api.etherscan.io/api?module=account&action=txlist&address={address}&sort=desc&offset=25). It uses GM_xmlhttpRequest with GET method to fetch the transaction list, which returns a JSON array containing up to 25 recent transactions with fields including hash, from, to, value, timeStamp, and gasUsed. The tool calculates the current balance by iterating through the transaction list and summing incoming and outgoing ETH values, and records the earliest transaction timestamp to establish wallet age. It stores both the balance and transaction hashes in local history objects keyed by wallet address using GM_setValue to persist data across page reloads. On each monitoring cycle, the tool computes the percentage change from the previous balance and checks for new transaction hashes. The alert triggering system classifies detected activity using a multi-factor risk model: balance change magnitude (relative to threshold), transaction value (relative to minimum threshold), wallet age (newer wallets with large inflows are flagged higher), and transaction density (clusters of transactions suggest distribution events). This combination of factors allows the tool to distinguish between routine wallet activity and potential vesting unlock events.

THE PANEL

The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the Etherscan interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit an address page. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your blockchain investigation workflow.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension to function. A real EVM wallet extension is optional — the tool will work without one, but may provide additional on-chain verification if available. EVM chains only. This is a monitoring and alert tool only — it does not execute transaction-based actions automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the API data includes all mempool transactions or pending movements. It cannot account for token price changes between data fetches. It cannot read transaction history from wallets not visible on Etherscan. It cannot detect unlock events from smart contracts without analyzing contract bytecode. It cannot predict future wallet activity or unlock schedules. It cannot read private wallet information or transaction intentions. It cannot distinguish between team wallet unlocks and other large movements without manual verification. All API data is fetched through public endpoints; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser. Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. Always verify all transaction details independently before making any decisions based on the alerts.
