Vote Delegation Auto-Renewal Tool

WHAT IT DOES

This tool evaluates vote delegation auto-renewal readiness, helping users determine if their vote delegation can be automatically renewed before it expires. Given a delegation contract address, a delegatee address, and an optional user address, it reads the current delegation details—amount, expiry timestamp, and active status. It also retrieves the renewal terms—renewal period, renewal fee, and auto-renewal flag—and checks if the user can renew via the canRenew function. Additionally, it reads the user's delegation count and delegation history. The tool then determines renewal readiness—Ready to renew, Active (with time remaining), Expired (renewal available), No active delegation, or Cannot renew. It displays a countdown timer showing the remaining time before expiry, the renewal period, any renewal fee, auto-renewal status, a detailed breakdown of renewal readiness factors (delegation active, not expired, canRenew true), and all relevant addresses with block explorer links. All data is pulled directly from the blockchain in real time, providing a transparent view before any renewal transaction.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the Connect button in the header, or enter a user address manually. Select the target network from the dropdown—Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Base, or Sepolia testnet. Enter the vote delegation contract address and the delegatee address you have delegated to. The user address field is optional; if left blank, the connected wallet address will be used. Click "Check renewal." The tool will fetch the delegation details, expiry timestamp, renewal terms, auto-renewal status, delegation history, and renewal eligibility. Results appear in the card below with a prominent renewal readiness badge, a countdown timer showing remaining time, detailed delegation and renewal information, and a breakdown of readiness factors with checkmarks or crosses. Use this information to decide whether to renew your delegation.

VOTE DELEGATION AUTO-RENEWAL VERIFICATION WITH EXPIRY AND TERMS ANALYSIS

The tool provides comprehensive vote delegation auto-renewal verification through multiple on-chain reads. First, it calls getDelegation() to retrieve the current delegation details—amount, expiry timestamp, and active status. This is compared against the current block time to determine if the delegation is active or expired. The getRenewalTerms() function returns the renewal period (the duration added upon renewal), the renewal fee (if any), and a boolean indicating whether auto-renewal is enabled for this delegation. The canRenew() function verifies that all conditions are met—the delegation exists, is active or expired, and any fee requirements are satisfied. The tool also calls getDelegationHistory() to retrieve the user's delegation history, providing context on past renewals, and getDelegationCount() to show the total number of delegations the user has. All factors are combined to provide a clear, actionable renewal readiness status with a countdown timer for active delegations.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot guarantee renewal execution—on-chain conditions may change between the check and the transaction. It cannot predict delegation outcomes or ensure that the renewal will be successful. It cannot verify off-chain renewal conditions or ensure that the delegator has sufficient funds for any renewal fees. It cannot ensure delegator solvency or detect changes in delegation status. It cannot detect renewal manipulation risks, including front-running, MEV, or other attacks. It cannot assure that the delegation contract is free from vulnerabilities, bugs, or malicious code. It cannot verify that the delegatee address is correct or that the user address is the one intended. It cannot detect errors in the renewal calculation or ensure that the renewal fee is accurate. It cannot provide financial or governance advice or guarantee that renewing is the right decision. All data is provided as-is for informational purposes only; any reliance on the tool's output for renewal decisions is the sole responsibility of the user.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM-compatible chains only: Ethereum Mainnet (1), Polygon (137), Optimism (10), Arbitrum One (42161), Base (8453), and Sepolia testnet (11155111). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool requires a Web3 provider (MetaMask or WalletConnect) and access to an RPC endpoint for the selected chain. It does not store any wallet data, delegatee addresses, or renewal records. All queries are performed directly against the blockchain in real time. The tool does not execute renewals—it only provides read-only information. Renewal terms and fees are contract-defined values and do not guarantee renewal success. Always verify critical data independently through a block explorer and consult with governance advisors before making any delegation renewal decisions.
