Webinar Summary Generator is a productivity tool that analyzes webinar descriptions, agendas, speaker bios, and transcripts from any webpage, then generates a structured summary of the webinar. It identifies the webinar's main topic or theme, key takeaways or lessons, highlights about the speakers, and any actionable insights or next steps for the audience, then produces a clear, well-organized summary that captures the essential content of the webinar. You can choose between a concise or detailed summary length, review the summary in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for your reference, for sharing with colleagues, or for use in your own content.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying webinar descriptions, agendas, speaker bios, transcripts, or similar webinar content. Common sources include webinar platforms, event pages, professional development sites, and corporate training portals.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a webinar description, agenda, speaker bios, or transcript. Open the BotGentz extension and select Webinar Summary Generator from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Select your preferred summary length (concise or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Generate Summary" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant webinar content and sends it to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a structured webinar summary in the panel. Review the summary, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for your reference.

TECHNICAL SECTION — WEBINAR CONTENT AND STRUCTURE EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on webinar and event communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing webinar indicators such as "webinar," "event," "speaker," "agenda," "topic," "takeaway," "insight," "transcript," "description," and "next steps." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the event data and surrounding structural markers (speaker names, topic headings, schedule items). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a webinar context using features like event language frequency ("webinar," "presentation," "speaker," "topic"), agenda markers, and insight indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the main topic and theme, key takeaways and lessons, speaker highlights, and actionable insights or next steps. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's length preference, are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a structured summary covering the key categories, reducing hallucination and ensuring accurate, contextually appropriate insights.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated webinar summaries are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy before relying on them, as interpretations may occasionally miss event nuances or misread speaker context. Websites change their webinar page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
