About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Agreement Comparison Summarizer extracts multiple agreements, contracts, or proposals from any page and uses advanced AI to generate a structured comparison highlighting key differences in terms, pricing, liability, and obligations. It identifies which agreement offers the best terms in each category, presents trade-offs clearly, and provides a summary recommendation. This makes it easy to evaluate competing offers without reading through every document in detail.
WHERE IT RUNS
This tool operates as a userscript within the BotGentz extension framework, running directly in your browser on any website. It works on pages with multiple contracts, vendor proposals, insurance quotes, service agreements, and virtually any competing legal documents. The tool integrates seamlessly into your workflow, appearing as a draggable panel that stays accessible as you review multiple offers.
HOW TO USE
Click "Scan Page" to automatically extract the agreement content from the current page. The tool intelligently identifies multiple documents and their key sections. Configure your comparison settings: choose your preferred focus (Price-Focused, Terms-Focused, Liability-Focused, or Balanced), toggle best and worst term highlighting on or off, and toggle side-by-side table and recommendation inclusion on or off. Click "Compare Agreements" to send the content to the AI backend. Within moments, you'll receive a structured comparison. Use the "Copy Comparison" button to save it for reference or to share with decision-makers.
TECHNICAL OPERATION
Agreement Comparison Summarizer employs a multi-strategy extraction pipeline that first checks for selected text, then attempts WebMCP (navigator.modelContext) when available—a W3C proposal for structured page content access—and falls back to DOM-based content detection using prioritized selectors for agreement containers, legal document sections, and content areas. The user's focus preference, highlighting setting, and table inclusion toggle are encoded as system-level instructions in the prompt sent to the AI. The text is truncated to 8000 characters and transmitted via GM_xmlhttpRequest to the AI backend. The AI, specifically prompted as a contract comparison specialist, identifies individual agreements within the content, extracts key attributes including pricing structures, term lengths, liability limits, obligations, termination conditions, and governing law. It organizes these attributes into a side-by-side format, highlighting the agreement with the best terms in each category and identifying any concerning provisions. The output includes a summary of trade-offs between options and a recommendation based on the user's selected focus. Each request is authenticated with a subscription key and counts against your monthly usage cap.
THE PANEL
The Agreement Comparison Summarizer panel is fully draggable and remembers its position between sessions using GM_setValue. It snaps to the edge of the viewport for a clean interface and can be collapsed to a small icon when not in use. The panel is resizable to accommodate longer content. Press Escape to quickly close or collapse the panel. The design is optimized for productivity with a dark theme, clear visual hierarchy, and responsive controls that adapt to your workflow.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool requires the free BotGentz extension installed in your browser and an active subscription to access the AI backend. AI-generated agreement comparisons are intended as aids for evaluating options and should not replace professional legal or financial review. Always consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on agreement comparisons. The tool may not capture all terms or account for all legal nuances. No page data is stored or transmitted beyond the content you explicitly submit for comparison. All processing occurs through secure HTTPS connections, and your subscription key is never exposed to the page context.
