AI Automation Candidate Assessor
About this app
WHAT IT DOES
The AI Automation Candidate Assessor helps operations leaders, automation teams, and process improvement professionals quickly evaluate which processes are best suited for automation. You provide process descriptions or task details—including volume, frequency, rules complexity, manual effort, and any constraints—and the agent returns a structured assessment with five essential sections: Automation Feasibility (an overall assessment of technical and operational viability), Estimated Effort Savings (potential reduction in manual hours or FTEs), Complexity Score (a rating of implementation difficulty based on rules, exceptions, and integration needs), Recommended Automation Approach (the most suitable automation type, such as RPA, workflow automation, or AI), and Prioritisation Ranking (a relative score to compare against other candidates). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the assessment focuses on the five most critical factors for automation candidacy—enabling teams to quickly identify high-value opportunities and build a data-driven automation pipeline. This is ideal for automation program leads, RPA teams, shared services managers, and continuous improvement professionals who need to prioritise automation investments effectively.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your process or task details into the input box—volume, frequency, complexity, effort, and constraints. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Assess automation” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a structured assessment with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from process maps, job descriptions, or audit reports without manual retyping. The agent handles any process domain, from finance to HR to IT to customer service.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Assess automation” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your process data.
SUBSCRIPTION
$19.99/month with a 7‑day free trial (no charge during trial). Includes 100 runs per month; unused runs do not roll over. You may cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings—no penalties, no questions asked. After cancellation, access ends at the current billing period’s close. The free trial is a great way to test the agent with your actual process data before committing.
THE PANEL
Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.
PLEASE NOTE
AI may overestimate feasibility or miss technical constraints. Always validate automation assessments with technical experts, system architects, and business stakeholders. This tool provides general information and decision support only—it does not constitute professional operations, technology, or financial advice. Users must independently verify all feasibility assumptions, effort estimates, and prioritisation rankings. The agent is an assistant, not a substitute for qualified automation or operations professionals.
