About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The AI Shared Service Request Router helps operations teams, service desk leads, and shared services managers quickly and consistently route incoming requests to the right team with the right priority. You provide a service request description—including request type, urgency, department, and any relevant context—and the agent returns a structured routing recommendation with five essential sections: Request Classification (a clear categorization of the request type, such as IT, HR, Facilities, or Finance), Recommended Service Team (the specific team or queue best equipped to handle the request), Urgency Level (priority rating based on impact and timeline), Escalation Path (who to involve if SLAs are at risk or the request requires special approval), and Action Steps (a concise checklist of immediate next steps to triage and process the request). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the recommendation focuses on the five most critical routing factors—ensuring service teams can act quickly and reduce misrouted tickets. This is ideal for shared services operations, IT service desks, HR shared services, and any organization with multi‑team intake channels.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your service request description into the input box—request type, urgency, department, and context. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Route request” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a structured routing recommendation with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture request details from emails, intake forms, or ticketing systems without manual retyping. The agent handles any request type, from IT incidents to HR inquiries to facilities work orders.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Route request” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your request data.

SUBSCRIPTION

$19.99/month with a 7‑day free trial (no charge during trial). Includes 100 runs per month; unused runs do not roll over. You may cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings—no penalties, no questions asked. After cancellation, access ends at the current billing period’s close. The free trial is a great way to test the agent with your actual service requests before committing.

THE PANEL

Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.

PLEASE NOTE

AI can misclassify requests or recommend incorrect routing. Always verify critical outputs against your organisational service catalogs, SLAs, and staffing models. This tool provides general information and decision support only—it does not constitute professional operations or legal advice. Users must independently verify all routing decisions with service owners and managers. The agent is an assistant, not a substitute for qualified operations or service management professionals.
