The output is organised into four clear sections: a suggested cost centre for each expense, a confidence score (1-5) indicating how certain the categorisation is, an explanation of why that cost centre was chosen, and 2 notable items flagged for review where the categorisation is unclear or borderline. This removes manual guesswork and helps your finance team consistently assign expenses to the right cost centres for accurate budgeting and reporting.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent inside BotSurf. Paste your OpenAI API key once (it stays locally in your browser). In the input box, paste your expense descriptions and amounts—one per line. Press the "Categorise expenses" button. Within seconds, the agent returns your structured categorisation. Copy it, share it with your finance team, or use it to guide your cost centre assignments.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you paste into the input box—nothing more, nothing less. It does not access your browser history, files, emails, or any other data. It does not send any identifying metadata beyond the content you explicitly submit. The only external transmission is that text to the AI API. Usage logs record only the count of runs for billing purposes; they do not store, log, or transmit the content of your expense details or the generated categorisation. Your data and the generated output remain solely on your device unless you choose to save or share them.
