About this app
WHAT IT DOES
AI Lesson Plan Drafter Org is a specialized AI agent that helps educators, teachers, and instructional designers create structured, effective lesson plans in seconds. Give it a subject, grade level, or learning objective, and it returns exactly five key lesson plan elements, ranked by instructional importance. Each element covers an essential part of lesson planning—clear learning objectives that define what students will know and be able to do, a materials list that identifies what's needed for the lesson, a step-by-step procedure that outlines the instructional flow, an assessment strategy that measures student understanding, and differentiation approaches that address diverse learner needs. The ranking ensures the most critical instructional elements appear first, making the lesson plan easy to implement. No more starting from scratch—just a structured, repeatable drafting process that saves time and improves teaching quality.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf from the store. Paste your BotGentz API key once when prompted (the host handles secure storage). In the input box, type or paste your subject, grade level, or learning objective. Be as specific as possible—include the topic, grade level, standards you're addressing, duration, and any special considerations (e.g., "Algebra: linear equations, 9th grade, students will solve 2-step equations with variables on both sides, aligned to CCSS HSA-REI.A.1, 45-minute period, includes ELL students"). Click "Draft Lesson Plan" or use the "Use page selection" button to pull text from any open browser tab, such as a curriculum guide, a standards document, or a teaching resource. The AI replies within seconds with a clean, bullet‑style panel. No chat history, no follow-up required—just a fast, repeatable lesson planning tool.
WHAT IT SENDS
When you click "Draft Lesson Plan," the agent transmits exactly the text currently in the input box—nothing more, nothing less. It does not send page URLs, browsing history, IP addresses, location data, system metadata, or any other contextual information. The only external transmission is that single payload to the AI model, truncated to 6,000 characters if necessary. Usage logs on our servers record only the timestamp of each request and whether it succeeded (for tracking the 100-run monthly quota); they do not store the content of your prompts or the AI's responses. No training data is harvested, and no session data persists beyond the current request. Your lesson data and the model's draft plan remain strictly between you and the API endpoint.
SUBSCRIPTION
This agent costs $4.99 per month, billed monthly. Every subscription includes a 7-day free trial—no charge during that period, and you get the full 100 runs/month to evaluate thoroughly. Runs reset on your billing date; unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No long-term commitment, no setup fees, no hidden charges.
THE PANEL
The agent opens as a draggable, resizable panel that snaps to screen edges and collapses to a small icon when not in use. Press Escape to close it instantly, or click the collapse button to tuck it away. The panel remembers its position and size across sessions (if the host supports state persistence via BGAI.setState). It stays above page content, so you can keep it open while referencing curriculum standards, textbooks, or teaching resources.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool provides general information and drafting assistance only. It is not a substitute for professional educational judgment, curriculum expertise, or pedagogical training. Always review and adapt lesson plans to fit your specific students, classroom context, and instructional goals. AI can make mistakes—verify all objectives, activities, and assessments against your curriculum standards and student needs. Use at your own risk.
