WHAT IT DOES

AI Reading Level Simplifier helps you make complex texts more accessible by adjusting them to a target reading level. Provide a text and specify the desired reading level (e.g., Grade 5, Grade 8, Adult), and the agent returns a structured output with three sections: Original Text (the text you provided), Simplified Text (the text rephrased at your target level), and Vocabulary Notes (key terms explained in simple language). The simplified text is clear, accurate, and appropriate for the target level, making it useful for educators, students, content creators, and anyone who needs to adapt text for different audiences.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter the text you want to simplify and the target reading level. Press "Simplify" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted simplification with all three sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as articles, textbooks, or notes—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining the text or reading level to get more precise adaptations.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the simplify button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your text data or the generated simplification. Your text is not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.

SUBSCRIPTION

The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for simplifying multiple texts, adapting content for different reading levels, or supporting ongoing educational or content needs. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.

THE PANEL

The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.
