About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Beta Program Terms Summarizer is a productivity tool that extracts beta program terms, license agreements, and early access policies from any webpage and produces a clear, plain-language summary. It identifies key obligations, usage restrictions, termination conditions, and user rights from dense legal text, transforming complex legalese into straightforward, actionable information. The AI-generated summary highlights what you can and cannot do, how long the beta period lasts, how termination works, and what rights you retain. You can review the summary in the panel and copy it for reference, sharing with your team, or for personal understanding before agreeing to terms.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage containing beta program terms, EULAs, early access agreements, preview program policies, or similar legal documents. Common sources include software beta signup pages, game preview agreements, SaaS early access pages, developer program portals, and product testing enrollment pages.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that contains beta program terms or a license agreement. Open the BotGentz extension and select Beta Program Terms Summarizer from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Click the "Scan & Summarize" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant legal text and sends it to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a structured summary in the panel that breaks down obligations, restrictions, termination clauses, and user rights in plain English. Review the summary, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for reference or sharing.

TECHNICAL SECTION — LEGAL PATTERN ENTITY EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on legal and contractual language patterns. First, it applies a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing legal indicators such as "terms," "agreement," "beta," "early access," "preview," "license," "conditions," and "restrictions." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a sliding-window algorithm that captures both the sentence context and surrounding structural markers (headings, list items, numbered clauses). Third, a lightweight classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a beta terms document, using features like sentence length, passive voice frequency, modal verb density ("shall," "may," "must"), and section numbering patterns. Fourth, the system clusters related passages into thematic groups corresponding to standard contractual sections (obligations, restrictions, termination, rights). Finally, the structured clusters are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to output only the four core categories, reducing hallucination and ensuring consistent, reliable summaries.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI summarization feature. AI-generated summaries are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy before relying on them, as legal interpretation may occasionally omit nuances. Websites change their structure frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; no browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
