WHAT IT DOES

Gift Card Balance Checker Injector helps you quickly check gift card balances by detecting gift card numbers on any webpage you visit. The script scans for common gift card number formats (16-digit, 19-digit, and alphanumeric codes) and injects a balance checker button next to detected numbers. Click the button to open a popup showing the detected gift card number and a "Check Balance" button that opens the issuer's balance check page. The script supports 23+ common gift card issuers including Amazon, Starbucks, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Apple, Google Play, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and major retailers. Recently checked gift cards are stored locally with timestamps, and you can view a history of all checked cards. Manual entry is also supported—enter any gift card number and select the issuer to check its balance.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs on every website (matching all URLs), detecting gift card numbers across the entire web. It works on email pages, receipt pages, gift card management dashboards, retailer checkout pages, and any page that displays gift card numbers. The script automatically adapts to each page and handles both static and dynamically loaded content.

HOW TO USE

After installing through the BotGentz extension, simply browse to any page that displays gift card numbers—the script will automatically detect them and inject a check button next to each number. Click the check button to open a popup with the gift card number and a "Check Balance" button that opens the issuer's balance check page in a new tab. Use the configuration panel to customize your experience: toggle check buttons on or off, show or hide the detection popup, show or hide history, enable or disable auto-detection, and set your default issuer. The panel displays real-time statistics including detected gift cards and history count. Use the "Scan for Gift Cards" button to manually scan, or use the manual entry section to add and check gift cards directly. The history panel shows all saved gift cards with masked numbers and quick check/copy buttons.

PATTERN-BASED GIFT CARD DETECTION WITH ISSUER MAPPING AND LOCAL HISTORY

This script implements a gift card detection engine using multiple regex patterns for common gift card number formats. The engine scans page text for 12-25 character alphanumeric sequences, filtering out phone numbers and other non-gift-card numbers using heuristic validation. The issuer detection maps detected numbers to known gift card issuers using pattern matching (e.g., 16-digit numbers map to most retailers, 15-digit to Amex, 25-character alphanumeric to Xbox). The popup injection system creates floating overlays that appear near detected numbers with quick action buttons. The history storage uses GM_setValue with a maximum of 50 entries, storing card numbers (full for checking, masked for display), issuer, and timestamp. Manual entry supports any number format and allows users to check balances for cards not automatically detected.

THE PANEL

The configuration panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per-site using GM_setValue. It snaps to screen edges when dragged near them, collapses to a compact bubble when minimized, and supports Escape key for quick collapse. All settings—including button visibility, popup display, history visibility, auto-detection, and default issuer—are persisted across sessions.

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to run. The script runs on all websites and scans page content for gift card numbers. It does not capture, store, or transmit any personal information unless you choose to save gift cards to your local history. All data is stored locally in your browser using GM_setValue and never transmitted to external servers. Gift card numbers are stored in plain text locally—only you have access to this data. The script does not check balances directly; it opens the issuer's official balance check page where you can enter the number to check the balance. This tool is provided for convenience and organizational purposes only.
