This extension panel runs directly inside your browser as an overlay on Indeed's job applications pages. It works on the My Jobs page, application history, and any page where Indeed displays your submitted applications. The tool operates within Indeed's web interface and requires no additional API keys or permissions beyond the BotGentz extension.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and activating Indeed Bulk Application Status Tracker Export, navigate to your Indeed "My Jobs" page or application history. Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the panel. The tool automatically detects all applications displayed on the current page. Each application appears with its job title, company, and current status alongside a checkbox. Use the "Select All" toggle or individually check applications to control which ones to export. Filter applications by status using the dropdown or by keyword using the search input. The statistics section updates in real-time showing total applications and counts per status. Choose your export format: CSV (compatible with spreadsheets) or JSON (for developers and data analysis). A live preview shows the exported data before you finalize. Click "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the data or "Download File" to save it as a file with a timestamped filename.

TECHNICAL OPERATION — DOM-Based Application Data Extraction

Unlike API-based solutions that require OAuth tokens and complex integrations, this tool operates through direct DOM traversal and structured data extraction. It scans the page for elements containing application data, extracting job IDs from `data-application-id` attributes, titles from job title elements, company names from company elements, locations from location elements, and statuses from status badge elements. The tool detects application dates from date elements and URLs from anchor tags. For pages that don't use specific application card classes, the tool falls back to searching for standard Indeed result containers. Once extracted, the data is structured into a uniform format and converted to CSV using proper field quoting for Excel compatibility, or to JSON for structured data processing. The statistics summary is generated by aggregating the status field across all detected applications, presenting counts in a concise horizontal display. Filtering is applied client-side using simple string matching, allowing fast iteration through the application list without re-scanning the DOM.

THE PANEL

The extension panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per site session. It snaps to the nearest edge of the browser viewport when dragged within 50 pixels of any side. You can collapse the panel to a compact title bar using the minimize button, preserving your selection state. The panel resizes vertically by dragging the bottom edge. Press the Escape key to close the panel instantly without losing your application selection. The live preview updates in real-time as you change filters and export settings.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz browser extension to function. The script does not use Indeed's API and cannot access applications stored outside the currently visible page. It only sees applications that are rendered in the page's DOM. For best results, load all your applications before opening the panel, or use the "Refresh" button after scrolling. Indeed's UI structure may change over time, which could affect application detection; we monitor and release compatibility updates as needed. The tool does not store, transmit, or log any application data, personal information, or status details. All operations occur locally in your browser session. The exported data is for your personal tracking purposes only and should be handled according to your data privacy practices.
