Moz Bulk URL Metrics Checker lets you export URL metrics for multiple URLs in a single operation. Instead of manually copying metrics one by one, or using Moz's built-in export that exports all URLs without selection — this tool provides a unified checklist of all URLs on the current page. You can see each URL with its Page Authority, Domain Authority, Spam Score, Backlinks, and Linking Domains. Select any number of URLs using checkboxes, choose your export format (CSV or JSON), and click Export. The tool then extracts the selected URL data and generates a clean, structured export file with all metrics. This turns what could be a tedious copy-paste operation into a single batch action, making SEO analysis and link auditing significantly faster and more precise.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs exclusively on the Moz web application in your browser. It activates on the URL metrics page, link explorer, and research views within the Moz dashboard. It requires the BotGentz extension to inject and execute the script. The tool does not work on the Moz mobile app, the API, or any third-party Moz clients — only the web-based Moz interface accessed through a Chromium-based or Firefox browser. It specifically targets pages under *.moz.com, including the Moz Link Explorer and URL metrics views.

HOW TO USE

After installing the script via BotGentz, navigate to any Moz URL page — the Link Explorer, URL Metrics, or research reports. The tool automatically detects the URL list and displays a floating panel on the right side. The panel shows all URLs on the current page, with checkboxes next to each URL entry. Each URL displays its address, Page Authority, Domain Authority, Spam Score, Backlinks count, and Linking Domains count. Use the search box to filter by URL to narrow down your selection. Check the boxes for every URL you want to export. Below the URL list, toggle between CSV and JSON format. Click "Export Selected" and the tool will extract the selected URL data and generate the export file for download. A status message appears when the export completes, showing how many URLs were exported.

THE ACTUAL MECHANISM — WHY IT WORKS

Moz's web interface is built with React and uses a component-based rendering system for its URL management. The URL list is rendered as table rows or cards, each containing URL metadata and metric data. This tool scans the DOM for URL items using multiple selector patterns that Moz consistently uses across versions. For each URL, it extracts the URL address, Page Authority, Domain Authority, Spam Score, Backlinks, and Linking Domains from the visible text content and data attributes. Each URL is assigned a unique identifier from data attributes or checkbox values. When exporting, the tool generates CSV with metric headers and each selected URL as a row, or JSON with each URL as a structured object. The CSV generation properly escapes quotes and handles numeric values. This approach works without making direct API calls, which would require authentication credentials and knowledge of Moz's internal API structure. By reading the rendered DOM, the tool captures exactly what you see on the page, ensuring the exported data matches the displayed metrics.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable — click and drag the header to reposition it anywhere on the page. The panel's position is saved per site in localStorage, so it reappears exactly where you left it when you return to the metrics page. Double-click the header to snap the panel to the nearest edge (left or right). A collapse button minimizes the panel to a small tab showing a link emoji badge, keeping it out of the way while still accessible. The URL list inside the panel is scrollable and resizes vertically based on the number of URLs. Pressing Escape while the panel is focused closes it completely; reopening is done via a small button injected near the page toolbar. All panel interactions are non-blocking — Moz's main UI remains fully responsive while the panel is open, and the panel updates automatically when you navigate between projects or pages.

This script requires the BotGentz extension (free) to run user scripts on Moz. Moz frequently updates its web interface and metric display structures; if the tool stops working, check for an updated version within BotGentz's script repository. This tool does not store, transmit, or log any URL data, metrics, or project information — all operations occur locally in your browser with no external network requests except those made by Moz itself. Exported data is generated entirely from the visible page content. For pages with a large number of URLs, the tool may take a moment to generate the export file — a status message indicates when the export is complete. Always verify the exported data matches your expectations, as some metrics may have different formatting or units in the page display. The tool only affects URLs visible on the current page; to export all URLs, use Moz's built-in pagination controls or adjust your view to show all relevant URLs. The CSV export uses comma-separated values with quoted fields, compatible with all major spreadsheet applications. The JSON export produces well-formatted, readable JSON suitable for data analysis and integration with other SEO tools.
