WHAT IT DOES

Printify Web Provider Comparison Overlay reads provider pricing and shipping options from Printify product pages and displays a floating provider comparison overlay showing price differences between providers. Each provider is displayed with its name, price, and shipping time. The cheapest provider is highlighted in green, and the fastest provider is highlighted in gold. A best badge shows the overall best value or fastest option. The extension tracks provider selection history per product, storing which provider was selected for each product. You can set preferred providers that appear first in the list with a star icon. The panel displays your current providers, cheapest and fastest options, and product name.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all Printify pages at printify.com and its subdomains, specifically on product pages where provider pricing and shipping options are displayed. It runs on the main product view, the catalog page, the pricing page, and any page displaying provider information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access Printify's servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to printify.com and open any product page. The extension automatically creates a floating provider comparison overlay on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The overlay shows all providers with their prices and shipping times, with cheapest and fastest highlighted. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the overlay with the latest provider information. Enter preferred provider IDs in the preferences section to have them appear first with a star icon. The "Show shipping info" toggle controls whether shipping details appear. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). Drag the overlay by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the overlay with the × button.

PROVIDER DATA EXTRACTION WITH PRICE AND SHIPPING DETECTION

Unlike simple provider display tools, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find provider items, pricing, and shipping information from Printify's varying page structures. It searches for provider items using multiple selector patterns (.provider-item, .print-provider, .vendor-item) and falls back to text parsing. Prices are extracted from price selectors using number parsing. Shipping times are extracted from shipping selectors, with numeric days extracted for fast detection. The cheapest provider is identified by comparing all prices, and the fastest provider is identified by extracting the numeric days from shipping text. Provider selection history is stored as a key-value object where keys are product identifiers and values are arrays of provider records with timestamps, limited to 20 entries per product. Preferred providers are stored as an array of provider IDs and are displayed first with a star icon.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on printify.com. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, preferred providers, shipping visibility, and provider history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. Printify's website changes periodically, and provider element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting provider data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, preferred providers, shipping preference, and provider history locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Provider history is stored as a key-value object where keys are product identifiers and values are arrays of provider records. The provider data displayed is read from the page—the extension does not access Printify's internal provider data. Always verify with Printify directly for the most accurate provider pricing and shipping information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for printify.com.
