WHAT IT DOES This script automatically detects job descriptions and resume text on any webpage, extracts meaningful keywords from both, and calculates a keyword match percentage. It shows which job description keywords are present in your resume (matched), which are missing, and which resume keywords don't appear in the job description. The overall match score (0-100%) helps you quickly assess how well your resume aligns with the target role. Click any missing keyword to copy it to your clipboard for easy addition to your resume. Export the complete match report as CSV or text for offline review, or share it with career coaches and mentors. WHERE IT RUNS Works on any webpage displaying job descriptions and resumes—job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor), career portals, company career pages, resume builder platforms (Rezi, Novoresume), or document previews. The script uses adaptive pattern detection to automatically identify job description and resume content without site-specific rules. You can also paste text manually if auto-detection doesn't find the right content. HOW TO USE The panel appears automatically when you visit a page. Click "Auto-Detect" to scan for job description and resume content. The script identifies job descriptions by looking for common indicators (job description, responsibilities, requirements, qualifications, about the role) and resumes by detecting standard sections (work experience, education, skills, summary).
