WHAT IT DOES

WooCommerce Admin Low-Stock Alert Badge scans the current page for WooCommerce admin product listings, extracting product names, SKUs, stock quantities, stock statuses, and low-stock thresholds. The floating panel displays a low-stock alert badge showing products that are out of stock, low in stock, or approaching threshold. Color-coded indicators (red for out of stock, orange for low stock, yellow for approaching threshold) and a summary of stock status counts provide quick visibility. Filter by stock status, sort by quantity, and export low-stock data as CSV or text. Products that need reordering are highlighted, and stock level trends are tracked.

HOW TO USE

The panel displays a summary of stock status counts (Out of Stock, Low Stock, Approaching, Total) followed by a list of all detected products. Each product shows its name, SKU, stock quantity, and stock status with color coding. Click "Scan Products" to detect all products on the current page. The product list is sorted by quantity ascending (lowest first) to highlight critical items. Export the low-stock data as text for reporting or reordering. The panel automatically highlights products directly in the product list on the page with colored borders.

MECHANISM — PRODUCT EXTRACTION WITH STOCK STATUS CLASSIFICATION

The script detects WooCommerce products by finding product rows using selectors (.product-row, .products-table tbody tr). From each row, it extracts the product name, SKU, stock quantity, and stock status using targeted sub-selectors. Stock quantities are parsed from text, and the stock status classification uses configurable thresholds: out of stock (0), low stock (1-5), approaching (6-10), and in stock (11+). The summary counts products in each category, and the list is sorted by quantity to show critical items first. The script also adds a colored border to each product row on the page for visual reference. All extraction and calculation runs client-side with no network calls.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per domain. Click the minimize button to collapse it to a small bubble, or press Escape to hide it. The panel automatically adjusts to different screen sizes and can be resized to show more content. All settings, including stock thresholds and colors, are saved per domain. The panel integrates smoothly with any page layout using the BGPanel framework, maintaining clean separation from page content.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to run. It does not send any data to external servers; all extracted product data and settings remain entirely local to your browser using GM_setValue. The script never reads password fields, hidden inputs, or file inputs. It stores only product names, SKUs, stock quantities, and statuses from publicly visible WooCommerce admin page content. Product detection depends on the page structure; if products are not detected, use the "Scan Products" button to refresh extraction. The script works on WooCommerce admin pages and detects pages by hostname. Stock thresholds are configurable and can be adjusted to match your inventory needs. Data persists across browser sessions and is isolated per browser profile.
