You provide the job description, the candidate's background (skills, experience, and achievements), and any specific constraints, and the agent returns a tailored cover letter with four essential sections: Opening (a professional introduction expressing interest in the role and company), Relevant Experience Highlights (specific, measurable accomplishments that directly align with the job requirements), Skills Alignment (a concise mapping of the candidate's capabilities to the key skills listed in the job description), and Closing (a confident, polite wrap-up and call to action). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the letter focuses on the five most compelling qualifications for the role—ensuring the application is concise, relevant, and memorable. This is ideal for job seekers, career advisors, resume writers, and anyone applying to competitive positions.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your job description, candidate background, and constraints into the input box—skills, experience, achievements. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Tailor letter” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a tailored cover letter with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from job postings, resumes, or LinkedIn profiles without manual retyping. The agent handles any role type, from entry-level to executive positions.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Tailor letter” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your letter data.

THE PANEL

Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.
