AI Escalation Path Explainer
About this app
WHAT IT DOES
The AI Escalation Path Explainer helps operations leaders, service managers, and team leads communicate escalation procedures clearly—so teams know exactly when and how to escalate issues. You provide escalation path details—issue types, severity levels, contact points, escalation triggers, and any specific response times—and the agent returns a plain‑English explanation with five essential sections: Escalation Overview (the purpose and scope of the escalation framework), Issue Classification (how issues are categorised by type and severity), Escalation Levels and Contacts (who to contact at each level, from first response to executive escalation), Expected Response Times (targeted timeframes for acknowledgement, updates, and resolution at each level), and Escalation Triggers (specific conditions that automatically trigger escalation, such as SLA breaches, recurring errors, or executive visibility requirements). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the explanation focuses on the five most critical escalation paths—ensuring teams can act with confidence when issues arise. This is ideal for service desk managers, operations leads, incident management teams, and anyone responsible for defining and communicating escalation procedures.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your escalation path details into the input box—issue types, severity levels, contacts, triggers, and response times. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Explain escalation” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a plain‑English explanation with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from policy documents, incident playbooks, or service level agreements without manual retyping. The agent handles any escalation domain, from IT incidents to customer complaints to operational emergencies.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Explain escalation” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your escalation data.
SUBSCRIPTION
$19.99/month with a 7‑day free trial (no charge during trial). Includes 100 runs per month; unused runs do not roll over. You may cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings—no penalties, no questions asked. After cancellation, access ends at the current billing period’s close. The free trial is a great way to test the agent with your actual escalation procedures before committing.
THE PANEL
Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.
PLEASE NOTE
AI may misinterpret severity levels or contact assignments. Always validate escalation explanations against organisational policies, SLAs, and stakeholder agreements. This tool provides general information and explanatory support only—it does not constitute professional operations, business, or legal advice. Users must independently verify all escalation triggers, response times, and contact details. The agent is an assistant, not a substitute for qualified operations or incident management professionals.
