You provide the reference letter context—candidate name, relationship, role, key strengths/accomplishments, and any specific tone or constraints—and the agent returns a draft reference letter with five essential sections: Opening (a professional salutation and introduction of the candidate), Relationship Context (your connection to the candidate and the duration of your working relationship), Key Strengths and Accomplishments (specific, measurable achievements that demonstrate the candidate's value), Personal Recommendation (a strong, authentic endorsement of the candidate's suitability), and Closing (a polite, professional sign-off with contact details). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the letter focuses on the five most compelling qualifications and attributes—ensuring the letter is concise, impactful, and tailored to the role. This is ideal for managers, supervisors, HR professionals, and anyone asked to write a reference letter for a colleague, direct report, or former employee.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your reference letter context into the input box—candidate name, relationship, role, strengths/accomplishments, and tone/constraints. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Draft letter” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a draft letter with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from resumes, performance reviews, or notes without manual retyping. The agent handles any reference type, from employment references to academic references to character references.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Draft letter” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. THE PANEL

Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.
