AI Resignation Letter Drafter
About this app
WHAT IT DOES
The AI Resignation Letter Drafter helps employees, HR professionals, and career coaches draft professional, polished resignation letters that maintain positive relationships and facilitate smooth transitions. You provide the resignation context—employee name, role, last day, reason, and any specific tone or constraints—and the agent returns a draft resignation letter with five essential sections: Opening (a professional salutation and intent to resign), Resignation Statement (clear and formal notification of departure with the effective last day), Reason/Thanks (a brief, positive explanation and sincere gratitude for opportunities and experiences), Transition Offer (a proactive commitment to assist with knowledge transfer and handover), and Closing (a respectful, forward-looking conclusion). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the letter focuses on the five most important elements for a professional resignation—ensuring the message is clear, gracious, and leaves a strong final impression. This is ideal for employees resigning from any role, HR teams supporting departures, and career advisors helping clients navigate resignations.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your resignation context into the input box—employee name, role, last day, reason, and tone/constraints. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Draft letter” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a draft letter with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from emails, HR policies, or personal notes without manual retyping. The agent handles any resignation scenario, from standard departures to more sensitive or complex situations.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Draft letter” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your resignation data.
SUBSCRIPTION
$19.99/month with a 7‑day free trial (no charge during trial). Includes 100 runs per month; unused runs do not roll over. You may cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings—no penalties, no questions asked. After cancellation, access ends at the current billing period’s close. The free trial is a great way to test the agent with your actual resignation scenarios before committing.
THE PANEL
Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.
