About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Email Reply Confirming a Cancellation is a customer support tool that analyzes cancellation forms, subscription management pages, and confirmation notices from any webpage, then drafts a clear, professional email confirming the cancellation of a service, subscription, or account. It identifies the service or subscription name, account or reference number, cancellation method, and any effective date or confirmation details, then generates a well-structured email that confirms the cancellation, references the specific details (such as subscription name and account number), and clearly states the effective cancellation date or that confirmation is complete. You can choose between a concise or detailed style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or customer support platform.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying cancellation forms, subscription management pages, confirmation notices, or similar cancellation-related information. Common sources include subscription services, software-as-a-service platforms, membership portals, telecom providers, and account management pages.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a cancellation form, subscription management page, or confirmation notice. Open the BotGentz extension and select Email Reply Confirming a Cancellation from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the service or subscription name in the provided field. Optionally, enter the effective cancellation date. Select your preferred style (concise or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Confirmation" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant cancellation details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, professional cancellation confirmation email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — CANCELLATION AND SUBSCRIPTION DATA EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on cancellation and subscription management communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing cancellation indicators such as "cancellation," "cancel," "subscription," "service," "membership," "account," "termination," and "effective date." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the cancellation data and surrounding structural markers (account numbers, subscription names, dates, confirmation reference codes). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a cancellation context using features like cancellation language frequency ("cancel," "end," "terminate," "discontinue"), subscription reference patterns, date markers, and confirmation indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the service or subscription name, the account or reference number, the effective cancellation date, and the cancellation method or confirmation status. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, service name, effective date, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete cancellation confirmation with standardized sections (subject line, confirmation statement, service reference, effective date, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI drafting feature. AI-generated cancellation confirmations are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss subscription details or misread cancellation information. Websites change their cancellation page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
