This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying purchase confirmations, order details, refund policies, billing pages, or similar purchase-related information. Common sources include e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, subscription services, and billing portals.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays purchase confirmation, order details, refund policy, or billing information. Open the BotGentz extension and select Email Reply Requesting a Refund from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the reason for the refund in the provided field. Select your desired outcome (full refund, partial refund, or store credit) and your preferred tone (courteous or firm) from the dropdown menus. Click the "Draft Refund Request" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant order details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, professional refund request email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — ORDER AND REFUND DETAIL EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on e-commerce and billing communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing order and refund indicators such as "order," "purchase," "transaction," "invoice," "receipt," "billing," "refund," "return," "policy," and "confirmation." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the order data and surrounding structural markers (order numbers, dates, item names, prices, total amounts, refund policy terms). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of an order or refund context using features like order number patterns, pricing language, item descriptors, and policy language frequency. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into five core categories: the order number and date, the item or service purchased, the amount paid, the refund policy details, and any relevant conditions or deadlines. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, reason, desired outcome, and tone), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete refund request with standardized sections (subject line, order reference, reason for refund, desired outcome, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated refund requests are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss order details or misread policy conditions. Websites change their order and billing page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
