About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Moderation Notice Explainer is a customer support tool that decodes moderation notices, warning messages, content removal notifications, and account action alerts from any webpage. It analyzes the often vague or legalistic language used in these communications and produces a clear, plain-language explanation of what triggered the action, what it means for the user, what their current account status is, and what steps they can take next. The AI-generated explanation helps users understand why their content was removed, why they received a warning, what restrictions apply, and how to appeal or resolve the issue. You can review the explanation in the panel and copy it for reference or to share with support teams.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage containing moderation notices, warning messages, content removal notifications, account suspension alerts, or similar platform enforcement communications. Common sources include social media platforms, online forums, e-commerce sites, content management systems, gaming platforms, and professional networks.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a moderation notice or account action alert. Open the BotGentz extension and select Moderation Notice Explainer from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Click the "Scan & Explain" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant notice text and sends it to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a structured explanation in the panel that breaks down what triggered the action, what it means, and what to do next in plain English. Review the explanation, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for reference or sharing.

TECHNICAL SECTION — MODERATION ACTION PATTERN RECOGNITION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on platform enforcement and moderation notification language. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing enforcement indicators such as "warning," "violation," "removed," "suspended," "restricted," "appeal," "terms," "guidelines," and "action taken." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the notification text and surrounding structural markers (timestamps, case numbers, policy references). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a moderation notice using features like directive language frequency ("you must," "please," "will be"), policy citation patterns, severity markers ("temporary," "permanent," "final"), and appeal procedure mentions. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into five core categories: the action taken, the trigger reason, the current account status, the impact on the user, and the available next steps. Finally, the structured clusters are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to output explanations for each category, reducing hallucination and ensuring consistent, actionable guidance.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI explanation feature. AI-generated explanations are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy before relying on them, as interpretations may occasionally omit nuances or reflect outdated policy versions. Websites change their notification formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; no browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
