WHAT IT DOES

Product Q&A Summarizer reads product Q&A sections, customer questions, and answers from shopping pages—Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and others—and uses AI to produce a concise summary of the most frequently asked questions and their answers. It groups related questions together, highlights the most common concerns (quality, size/fit, compatibility, setup, durability, performance, shipping, support), and distills the key takeaways a shopper needs to know before buying. The AI output is a short, categorized list of the top questions and answers, with the most important information emphasized.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool runs as a userscript inside the BotGentz extension on any website. All page content is processed locally before being sent to the AI backend—no data is stored or shared beyond the current analysis request. It works on product detail pages, question sections, customer Q&A areas, and FAQ sections.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any product page that contains a Q&A section. Open the panel and click "Summarize Q&A." The tool will scan the page for Q&A content, extract the relevant text, and send it to the AI for summarization. Within seconds, you'll receive a clean, categorized summary of the top questions and answers. Use the settings to customize the output: set the maximum number of questions to consider, include or exclude negative/concern questions, group by topic, and choose bullet points or plain text format.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses smart content extraction to locate Q&A text across diverse website structures. It scans for common Q&A selectors (qa-section, question-answer, qa-list, product-questions, customer-questions, q-and-a) and falls back to keyword-based detection (question, answer, ask, customer q, q&a, faq) when needed. The extracted text is then sent to a dedicated AI backend that identifies and groups the most frequent questions by topic, extracts the consensus answers, and prioritizes the most useful information for shoppers. The AI is instructed to return a structured, categorized summary under 1,024 tokens—no preamble, no meta-commentary, just the essential Q&A takeaways. The response is formatted as a clean, skimmable list for easy reading.

THE PANEL

The panel can be dragged anywhere on screen, snapped to the edge, resized, collapsed, and closed with Escape. It remembers its position per site and stays out of your way until you need it.

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active AI subscription. The AI replies are generated and should be verified against the official Q&A section before making purchasing decisions. Sites change frequently; if the tool stops working on a particular site, it may need updating. All data processing is local except for the AI request itself—no browsing data is collected or stored.
