About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Career Fair Follow-Up Drafter is a job search tool that analyzes company profiles, job listings, and career event information from any webpage, then drafts a polite, professional follow-up email to a recruiter or company contact after a career fair. It identifies the company name, recruiter or contact details, available roles, and relevant event information, then generates a well-structured email that references the conversation at the career fair, expresses appreciation for the recruiter's time, states continued interest in the company or specific roles, and suggests a specific next step (such as sharing a resume, scheduling a call, or applying online). You can choose between a brief or detailed style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client.
WHERE IT RUNS
This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying company profiles, job listings, career event information, or similar professional content. Common sources include company career pages, job boards, LinkedIn, and career fair event platforms.
HOW TO USE
Navigate to any page that displays a company profile, job listing, or career event information. Open the BotGentz extension and select Career Fair Follow-Up Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the recruiter/contact name, a conversation reference (such as what role or topic you discussed), and the next step you would like to suggest. Select your preferred style (brief or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Follow-Up" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant company or job details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a polite, professional follow-up email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.
TECHNICAL SECTION — COMPANY PROFILE AND JOB LISTING EXTRACTION
This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on career fair, company profile, and job listing communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing career and company indicators such as "company," "career," "job," "role," "position," "recruiter," "event," "fair," "hiring," "apply," "location," and "industry." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the company data and surrounding structural markers (company names, recruiter names, job titles, event dates, application links). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a company profile or job listing context using features like professional language frequency ("company," "role," "department," "careers"), job title markers, industry references, and event indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the company name and industry, available roles or job titles, recruiter or contact details, and any event or application information. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, recipient name, conversation reference, next step, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete career fair follow-up email with standardized sections (greeting, career fair reference, appreciation, interest statement, specific next step, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.
THE PANEL
The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI drafting feature. AI-generated career fair follow-up emails are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss company details or misread the conversation context. Websites change their career page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
