This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying job offer letters, offer details, employment contracts, or similar professional documents. Common sources include email clients, recruitment portals, company career pages, and document management systems.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a job offer letter, offer details, or employment contract. Open the BotGentz extension and select Job Offer Decline Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Optionally, enter the position title and a brief, tactful reason for declining. Enter a future opportunity note if desired. Select your preferred style (brief or appreciative) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Decline" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant offer details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a professional, gracious decline email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — OFFER LETTER AND EMPLOYMENT DETAIL EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on job offer and employment contract communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing offer indicators such as "offer," "compensation," "salary," "start date," "position," "title," "benefits," "employment," and "contract." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the offer text and surrounding structural markers (salary figures, date formats, role descriptions, company names). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a job offer context using features like professional language frequency ("we are pleased to offer," "offer letter," "employment," "compensation," "benefits"), salary patterns, start date markers, and position title references. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the position title, the compensation package, the start date, and any additional terms or conditions. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, position, reason, future note, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete decline email with standardized sections (appreciation, professional decline, brief reason if appropriate, future opportunity note, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated decline emails are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss offer details or misread the context. Websites change their offer page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
