It identifies the contact's name, role, company, and context from the profile or meeting notes, then generates a well-structured email that references the meeting or connection, expresses appreciation for the conversation or opportunity, and suggests a specific next step to maintain the relationship, such as scheduling a call, connecting on LinkedIn, or sharing resources. You can choose between a brief or detailed style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying professional profiles, contact information, meeting notes, or similar professional networking content. Common sources include LinkedIn, company directories, conference attendee lists, email clients, and professional networking platforms.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a professional profile, contact information, or meeting notes. Open the BotGentz extension and select Networking Follow-Up Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the recipient name, the meeting or connection context, and the next step you would like to suggest. Select your preferred style (brief or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Follow-Up" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant profile or contact details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a polite, professional follow-up email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — PROFESSIONAL PROFILE AND CONTACT EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on professional networking and contact communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing professional indicators such as "profile," "contact," "bio," "about," "position," "title," "company," "name," "email," "phone," and "meeting." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the profile text and surrounding structural markers (name fields, job titles, company names, contact details, meeting notes). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a professional profile or contact context using features like professional language frequency ("position," "role," "company," "department"), title markers, company references, and meeting indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the contact's name and role, the company or affiliation, any meeting notes or context, and any contact details. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, recipient name, meeting context, next step, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete follow-up email with standardized sections (greeting, reference to the meeting or connection, appreciation statement, suggested next step, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated follow-up emails are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss contact details or misread the meeting context. Websites change their profile page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
