Repair Request Drafter is a customer support tool that analyzes product information, service details, and issue descriptions from any webpage, then drafts a professional, detailed repair request email. It identifies the product name, model, serial number, and the problem or issue requiring repair, then generates a well-structured request that identifies the product, clearly describes the problem, specifies the desired repair or service outcome, and includes relevant location or shipping details if needed. You can choose between a concise or detailed style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or service request form.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying product information, service details, issue descriptions, or similar repair-related content. Common sources include product pages, manufacturer websites, service portals, and repair request forms.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays product information, service details, or an issue description. Open the BotGentz extension and select Repair Request Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the product name/model, serial number (if applicable), a description of the problem, the desired repair/service outcome, and optionally any location or shipping details. Select your preferred style (concise or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Repair Request" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant product and service details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a professional, detailed repair request email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — PRODUCT AND SERVICE DETAIL EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on product support and repair communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing repair indicators such as "repair," "service," "product," "model," "serial," "issue," "problem," "defect," "warranty," "location," and "shipping." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the product data and surrounding structural markers (product names, model numbers, serial numbers, service descriptions). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a repair context using features like repair language frequency ("repair," "service," "fix," "replacement," "warranty"), product patterns, and service markers. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the product identification, the issue or problem description, the desired outcome, and any location or shipping details. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, product name, serial number, problem description, desired outcome, location, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete repair request with standardized sections (product identification, problem description, desired outcome, location details if applicable, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI drafting feature. AI-generated repair requests are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss product details or misread service descriptions. Websites change their product page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
