It identifies the product name, model, serial number, the warranty terms, and the issue or defect described, then generates a well-structured description that identifies the product, describes the issue, references the warranty terms or coverage, and clearly states the requested resolution (repair, replacement, or refund). You can choose between a structured (sections) or narrative (paragraph) style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or warranty claim form.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying product information, warranty policies, proof of purchase details, or similar warranty-related content. Common sources include product pages, manufacturer websites, retailer sites, and warranty claim portals.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays product information, warranty policy, or proof of purchase details. Open the BotGentz extension and select Warranty Claim Description Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the product name/model, serial number (if applicable), and a description of the issue. Select your requested resolution (repair, replacement, or refund) and your preferred style (structured sections or narrative paragraph) from the dropdown menus. Click the "Draft Claim" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant product and warranty details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, detailed warranty claim description in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client or claim form.

TECHNICAL SECTION — PRODUCT AND WARRANTY DETAIL EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on warranty and product support communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing warranty indicators such as "warranty," "guarantee," "product," "model," "serial," "coverage," "repair," "replacement," "refund," "defect," and "claim." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the product data and surrounding structural markers (product names, model numbers, serial numbers, warranty terms). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a warranty context using features like warranty language frequency ("warranty period," "coverage," "defective," "manufacturer"), product patterns, and policy markers. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the product identification (name, model, serial), the warranty terms and coverage, the issue or defect description, and the proof of purchase details. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, product name, serial number, issue description, resolution, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete warranty claim description with standardized sections (product identification, issue description, warranty reference, requested resolution, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated warranty claim descriptions are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss product details or misread warranty terms. Websites change their product page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
