About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Support Ticket Reopening Drafter is a customer support tool that analyzes previously resolved tickets, support conversations, and issue tracking information from any webpage, then drafts a professional, clear email to reopen a support ticket. It identifies the ticket number, original issue summary, resolution details, and any follow-up information, then generates a well-structured email that requests the ticket be reopened, references the original issue, explains why the matter is not fully resolved, and provides specific details about the ongoing problem, including any new information. You can choose between a direct or explanatory style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or support portal.
WHERE IT RUNS
This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying previously resolved tickets, support conversations, issue tracking information, or similar customer support content. Common sources include Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Intercom, Help Scout, and other customer support platforms.
HOW TO USE
Navigate to any page that displays a previously resolved ticket, support conversation, or issue tracking information. Open the BotGentz extension and select Support Ticket Reopening Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the ticket number and a description of the ongoing issue. Optionally, provide new information about the problem. Select your preferred style (direct or explanatory) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Reopening" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant ticket details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a professional, clear reopening request email in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.
TECHNICAL SECTION — TICKET AND ISSUE HISTORY EXTRACTION
This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on customer support and ticket management communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing ticket indicators such as "ticket," "case," "issue," "request," "conversation," "status," "resolved," "closed," "reopen," "agent," and "reference." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the ticket data and surrounding structural markers (ticket numbers, status labels, conversation threads, resolution notes). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a support ticket context using features like ticket language frequency ("ticket #," "case ID," "request number"), status markers ("resolved," "closed," "pending"), and conversation patterns. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the ticket number or reference, the original issue description, the resolution provided, and any follow-up or additional information. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, ticket number, ongoing issue, new info, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete reopening request with standardized sections (request to reopen, ticket reference, explanation of why the issue persists, details of the ongoing problem, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.
THE PANEL
The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI drafting feature. AI-generated reopening requests are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss ticket details or misread the issue history. Websites change their support page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
