Application Form Auto-Filler from Profile reads the current page's application form fields—including input names, labels, placeholders, and field types—then matches them against your stored profile data (skills, experience, education, contact details, work history). It generates suggested values for each field that you can review and apply individually or collectively. The tool eliminates repetitive typing across multiple job applications by intelligently mapping your profile information to the specific fields on each form.

This tool works on any website that displays application forms, including company career pages, job board application portals, freelance platforms, and general online forms. It automatically detects form fields using common input patterns and structure. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and subscribing, navigate to any application form page. Click the Application Form Auto-Filler icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+A). The panel will open. First, set up your profile by filling in the profile editor section with your contact details, skills, experience, education, and work history. All profile data is stored locally in your browser. Click "Detect Form Fields" to scan the page and identify all form inputs. Then click "Analyze & Generate Fill Values" to match each field against your profile. The tool will suggest values for each field. Click "Apply All Suggested Values" to fill the entire form at once. You can also apply values manually by reviewing the suggestions before filling. Always review the filled values before submitting.

TECHNICAL SECTION — FIELD-SEMANTIC MAPPING ENGINE

Unlike simple auto-fillers that rely on exact name matching or preset field lists, this tool uses a field-semantic mapping engine. It first extracts comprehensive field metadata including input names, IDs, labels, placeholders, CSS classes, and surrounding text context. The engine then constructs a semantic profile of each field based on this multi-source identifier set. When matching against your profile data, the AI analyzes these field identifiers holistically rather than looking for exact string matches. For example, a field labeled "First name" with placeholder "Enter your given name" and name attribute "fname" would match to your first name profile value even though the attribute names differ. The engine understands name formats (first-last, last-first, full name) and can format your name accordingly. Phone fields are matched with country code awareness. This approach handles the wide variety of form implementations across different websites without requiring preconfigured templates.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the profile editor or form analysis results. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All profile settings are saved globally and persist across sessions.

Never use this tool with password, hidden, or file inputs—these fields are automatically excluded. Form field data is extracted from the page and sent to the AI service solely for generating value suggestions; your profile data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. Application forms change their layouts frequently; scripts may need updates, and we work to keep them current but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
