Interview Thank-You Note Drafter reads the current page's interview details—including company name, interviewer name(s), job title, and any notes you've entered about the interview conversation—then generates a personalized thank-you note draft. You can review, edit, and send the note via email or LinkedIn. The tool creates contextually appropriate follow-up messages that reference specific discussion points and demonstrate your continued interest in the position.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any website that displays interview-related information, including company career pages, job posting pages, email interfaces, LinkedIn messages, or any page where you might capture interview details. It automatically detects relevant context from the page or accepts manual input. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and subscribing, navigate to any page with interview context. Click the Interview Thank-You Note Drafter icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+T). The panel will open. Click "Extract from Page" to automatically capture company name, interviewer name, and job title from the current page. Enter any additional conversation notes in the notes area—key topics discussed, specific connections you made, or points you want to reference. Choose your preferred tone (Professional, Warm, or Enthusiastic), desired length (Short, Medium, or Detailed), and signature preference. Click "Draft Thank-You Note" to generate a personalized note. Review and edit the draft in the panel, then copy it to your clipboard with the "Copy Draft" button. Paste the note into your email or LinkedIn message and send it.

TECHNICAL SECTION — CONVERSATION-BASED PERSONALIZATION ENGINE

Unlike generic thank-you templates or simple fill-in-the-blank notes, this tool uses a conversation-based personalization engine. It analyzes the interview details holistically—company culture context, interviewer relationship dynamics, and the specific conversation topics you provide. The engine understands that an effective thank-you note should reference concrete discussion points, demonstrate engagement with the company's work, and maintain appropriate professional warmth based on the interview rapport. When you provide notes about the conversation, the AI synthesizes this with the interview context to generate references that feel genuine and specific to your actual interview experience. The system prompt instructs the AI to incorporate company research references when appropriate, creating notes that show you've done your homework beyond just the interview itself. This produces thank-you notes that stand out to hiring managers as thoughtful and well-researched rather than generic form letters. The AI is capped at 1,024 tokens to ensure focused, concise outputs that are easy to review.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the interview notes or draft areas. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (tone, length, signature) are saved globally and persist across sessions.
