WHAT IT DOES
LinkedIn Connection Request Drafter reads the current LinkedIn profile page—including the person's name, headline, current role, company, and shared connections—then generates a personalized connection request note that you can review, edit, and send via LinkedIn's connection request flow. The tool creates contextually appropriate notes that reference the person's background and your potential common ground, increasing the likelihood of connection acceptance.
WHERE IT RUNS
This tool works on LinkedIn profile pages, including public profiles, private profiles you have access to, and the profile views you see when browsing your network. It detects LinkedIn's profile interface automatically and extracts the relevant profile information. It runs exclusively on LinkedIn domains, as designated in the script's match patterns.
HOW TO USE
After installing the BotGentz extension and subscribing, navigate to any LinkedIn profile page. Click the LinkedIn Connection Request Drafter icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+C). The panel will open and display the extracted profile context. Click "Refresh Profile" to load the person's name, headline, current role, company, and shared connections. Choose your preferred tone (Professional, Friendly, or Networking), desired length (Short, Medium, or Detailed), and toggle whether to include mutual connection references and common interests. Click "Generate Draft" to produce a personalized connection request note. The draft appears in the panel where you can review, edit further, and then copy to your clipboard with the "Copy Draft" button. Open the LinkedIn "Connect" popup on the profile and paste your note into the message field before sending the request.
TECHNICAL SECTION — NETWORK CONTEXT PERSONALIZATION
Unlike generic connection templates that simply fill in the recipient's name, this tool uses a network context personalization engine. It extracts the person's professional identity from LinkedIn's structured profile data—name, headline, current role, company—and also identifies shared connections that can serve as conversation bridges. The engine recognizes that effective connection requests often reference a common point of interest, whether that's a shared connection, a similar industry, a mutual school, or a common professional background. The AI receives this structured profile data and generates notes that are genuinely personalized to the individual rather than formulaic. The system prompt instructs the AI to craft notes that sound authentic and specific, making the recipient more likely to accept the request because it doesn't feel like a mass message. The AI is capped at 1,024 tokens to ensure focused, concise outputs that fit within LinkedIn's character limits.
THE PANEL
The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the profile context or draft. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (tone, length, mutual connection references, common interests) are saved per site and persist across sessions.

LinkedIn changes its page layouts frequently; scripts may need updates, and we work to keep them current but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. No connection requests are sent automatically—you maintain full control over every request you send.
