Freelance Proposal Drafter reads the current page's freelance project details—including project description, requirements, budget, and timeline—and your skills and experience, then generates a polished freelance proposal draft that you can review, edit, and submit. The tool helps freelancers win more projects by creating professional, persuasive proposals that highlight relevant experience and value.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any webpage that displays freelance project details, including Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Toptal, and other freelance marketplaces, as well as email clients and project brief pages. It automatically extracts project information from page content or accepts manual input. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and subscribing, navigate to any page showing a freelance project. Click the Freelance Proposal Drafter icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+F). The panel will open. Click "Extract from Page" to automatically capture the project name, description, requirements, budget, and timeline from the current page—or enter the information manually. Provide your skills and relevant experience to personalize the proposal. Choose your preferred tone (Professional, Enthusiastic, or Confident), and toggle whether to include portfolio references, pricing breakdown, timeline, and relevant experience. Click "Draft Proposal" to generate a polished freelance proposal. The draft appears in the panel where you can review, edit further, and then copy to your clipboard with the "Copy Draft" button. Paste the proposal into the freelance platform's proposal form and submit it.

TECHNICAL SECTION — FREELANCE PROPOSAL GENERATION ENGINE

Unlike generic proposal templates, this tool uses a freelance proposal generation engine. It extracts key project details including the project description, requirements, budget, and timeline, along with your skills and experience. The AI analyzes this information and generates a proposal that addresses the client's needs, highlights your qualifications, and presents a clear value proposition. The system prompt instructs the AI to craft proposals that are professional, persuasive, and tailored to the specific project, while incorporating your experience and skills in a way that builds trust and credibility. The engine can include portfolio references, pricing breakdowns, timeline commitments, and relevant experience. This approach produces proposals that stand out to clients and increase your chances of being hired.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the project details or draft. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (tone, include portfolio, include pricing, include timeline, include experience) are saved globally and persist across sessions.
