Internship Application Drafter reads the current page's internship details—including company name, internship title, description, requirements, and qualifications—and your academic background and skills, then generates a polished internship application draft that you can review, edit, and submit. The tool helps students and recent graduates create compelling internship applications that highlight their relevant experience and enthusiasm.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any webpage that displays internship details, including job boards, company career pages, university career portals, and internship listings. It automatically extracts internship information from page content or accepts manual input. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and subscribing, navigate to any page showing an internship listing. Click the Internship Application Drafter icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+I). The panel will open. Click "Extract from Page" to automatically capture the company name, internship title, description, and requirements from the current page—or enter the information manually. Provide your academic background, skills, relevant coursework, and extracurricular activities. Choose your preferred tone (Professional, Enthusiastic, or Confident), and toggle whether to include academic background, relevant coursework, skills, and extracurricular activities. Click "Draft Application" to generate a polished internship application. The draft appears in the panel where you can review, edit further, and then copy to your clipboard with the "Copy Draft" button.

TECHNICAL SECTION — INTERNSHIP APPLICATION OPTIMIZATION ENGINE

Unlike generic application templates, this tool uses an internship application optimization engine. It extracts or collects key internship information including the company, role, description, and requirements, along with your academic background, skills, and activities. The AI analyzes this information and generates a polished application that highlights your most relevant qualifications, demonstrates your understanding of the role, and communicates your enthusiasm for the opportunity. The system prompt instructs the AI to craft applications that are well-structured, professional, and tailored to the specific internship, while incorporating your unique background and experiences. This approach produces applications that stand out to recruiters and hiring managers.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the internship details or draft. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (tone, include academic background, include coursework, include skills, include extracurricular) are saved globally and persist across sessions. Your background information is stored locally in your browser.
