Job Offer Comparison Summarizer reads the current page's job offer details—including company name, job title, salary, benefits, location, and work arrangement—and your notes on other offers, then generates a structured comparison summary with key differences, pros and cons, and a recommended decision framework. The tool helps you evaluate multiple job offers systematically and make informed career decisions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any webpage that displays job offer details, including offer letters, email clients, job portals, and company career sites. It automatically extracts offer information from page content or accepts manual input. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and subscribing, navigate to any page showing job offer details. Click the Job Offer Comparison Summarizer icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+O). The panel will open. Click "Extract from Page" to automatically capture the company name, job title, salary, benefits, location, and work arrangement from the current page—or enter the information manually. Enter details about other offers in the other offers area (one per line). Choose your preferred summary format (Table, Bullet Points, or Paragraph), and toggle whether to include salary comparison, benefits comparison, work-life balance factors, and growth opportunities. Click "Generate Comparison" to produce a structured comparison summary. The summary appears in the panel where you can review and then copy to your clipboard with the "Copy Summary" button.

TECHNICAL SECTION — JOB OFFER COMPARISON ENGINE

Unlike simple side-by-side lists, this tool uses a job offer comparison engine. It extracts key offer attributes including company, title, salary, benefits, location, and work arrangement. The AI analyzes this information alongside your notes on competing offers, identifying differences across multiple dimensions. The system prompt instructs the AI to generate a structured comparison that highlights key differences, evaluates pros and cons for each offer, and provides a recommended decision framework based on the relative strengths of each opportunity. The engine can be customized to focus on specific factors such as salary, benefits, work-life balance, and growth opportunities. This approach produces comprehensive, actionable comparisons that support informed career decisions.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the offer details or comparison. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (format, include salary, include benefits, include work-life balance, include growth) are saved globally and persist across sessions.
